Hi there lovies, I know it’s been a while, it’s been a super busy summer thus far, so I just have to make time for blogging, I’m sure you have all had times when you just need a break, well I had a good one, and a good amount of time off, now I am back hopefully 🙂 although, I am not making any promises, but I hope to get back into blogging, because you are all still here, reading, and supporting me, so thank you so much! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your summer, wait it’s July already? How did that even happen!??? Wow, slow down summer, I patiently wait all year for you, so please slow down, so I can enjoy you more 🙂 I am doing some traveling, and exploring this summer, so maybe I will switch the blog up a bit, and do some travel blogs, I think that’s a great goal, since I am going to some pretty amazing locations this summer, and as always right here where I live in Oregon, is always amazing too! 🙂

Let’s jump right into what I thought of this month’s box. Sephora Play box is a monthly subscription box, that is $10 a month, which includes shipping. It’s a great box for beauty lovers, if you love samples, and want to try out new products! I have found some great products that I wouldn’t normally think to try in these boxes, love it! I also want to mention (although I always forget to use mine) there is a 50 bonus beauty point card with any purchase that is included every month, which is a great incentive to go out and shop lol! But, I always forget about it sadly! Anyways, what did I think about this box? I thought it was okay, definitely not the best I have received, but not horrible, and the sample sizes are decent, but SO many hair products, I don’t really ever use hair products, so I was disappointed in that for sure, I want MORE makeup, I mean come on, don’t we all? I do love the KVD liquid lipstick though, it’s almost to bright, like unwearable bright, but I do love the formula, so maybe on occasion I could try this one out, it’s a pretty purple color, and there is not a better formula on the market that even comes close to KVD, but obviously I love everything by the brand, so that’s never an issue, lol!! So overall, this month’s box, was just okay, I hope next month for July will be better, and include less hair products! What did you all get in your box? I am always interested in what everyone else gets, because everyone’s boxes are different, well, I think there are about 4 or 5 different variations. Thanks for reading, Happy Sunday, and I hope you all have a great end to your weekend!!

Hello hello lovies! Welcome to the blog today, I am pre writing blogs, but I am writing this, and dreaming of where I will be in a few days, yep, I will be laying poolside in Las Vegas, I am so excited to be going again so soon, yeah for pool, and Vegas time. It’s only been a month since I was there, but it is calling my name again, so I am pre posting because as this is posted I will be at the pool on Monday morning, yeah! It’s okay really, you can be jealous!! This is the perfect blog post for the moment that’s for sure, but honestly I am not bringing it, I am to scared of it getting broken!! LOL, for real though! Anyone who knows me, knows I will always be a beach girl, I was raised in Florida, now living in Oregon, yep, opposite coast, still a beach girl, always will be. I have always loved hibiscus flowers, have a tattoo on my foot, because I am that in love with them!! I grew up with hibiscus flower bushes in my front, and back yard. I am so excited to see them by the pool at the belliagio, we always stay there, and there is hibiscus bushes by the pool, I am really hoping that they are blooming right now!! Anyways yes, I truly love them, so when I saw sneak peeks, I freaked out, I mean this was MADE for me. I actually a few years ago, bought on eBay the “surf baby” collection highlighter/blush that was brand new in the box, and I was so lucky to have it, as I am definitely a mac collector, I still haven’t ever used it lol, with that collection the gold hibiscus flower is just a spray over sadly, so I haven’t wanted to use it. This powder however, is not a spray over, it’s actually indented product of different colors in the compact, which is awesome! I love the packaging on this as well, it’s so tropical, bright, and beautiful, I also love the shiny black as well, although, I do feel like they could’ve done better, like have bright coral, or pink packaging, but that’s okay, I still love it. This powder is a pearlmatte finish, and is the perfect combination when swirled together, my darn ocd makes it very hard for me to mess up the beautiful hibiscus flower design, so the photo below of the swatch isn’t mine, just to let you know. There are many other products to the collection as well, this was just the only thing that I HAD to have, so it was the only piece from the collection that I purchased from Nordstrom. It retails at $33, which is typical of a normal mac cosmetics facial powder. The pan size is large, and it will last for a long time. The collection is called fruity juicy collection, most of the collection is still available online, and in stores, but it is selling out quickly, so I would act quickly if you want anything! It’s such a fun collection, I am so glad that I have this face powder full of hibiscus flowers in my makeup collection! Thanks for reading, were you able to purchase anything from this collection?

Urban Decay Vice Special Effects Long-Lasting Water- Resistant Lip Topcoat “White Lie” Review

Screen Shot 2017-06-09 at 8.29.20 PM.png

Hello lovies! Happy Saturday, I have been wanting to switch up my posting days, since I don’t really have a strict schedule, I would love to know your thoughts on this, and what you think, I won’t be changing the time that I post them, because I feel like 8 AM PST is a good time for everyone, but who knows, please let me know what you all think, I would appreciate some constructive feedback. Thank you! Okay, let’s get right to the blog post today. As you can already guess, this has been sitting on my “to do” list for a while now. I actually bought it right when it launched. I was super excited about it, because as a lot of you know, I am seriously obsessed with anything translucent, iridescent, shiny, opal like, oh you know, all the pretty things, lol! I thought this was such a cool product, new, innovative, and I had to have it! I at least had to have 1 of the 12 shades, and this shade was the only one that I wanted, funny, I would like a few more, but I knew this one was for me. It is absolutely beautiful!! I mean, just for the glitter alone, the colors, and the effect that it provides is so worth it! The lip topcoats retail for $18, and are available where Urban Decay is sold. I purchased mine at Macy’s! I think the retail price is pretty reasonable for the amount of product you get. I feel like because this is a top coat, that it will last for a long time, because with this product, you don’t need much, and a little goes a long way! By applying this top coat, it completely transforms any lip color, or lipstick, and makes it look totally different, I really think it’s such a fun, and innovative new product! I have seen topcoats before, but this is definitely more glittery, and really changes the look! This is perfect for a night out, from going from a day to night look, and just so fun! IT is shade shifting, and gives a duo chrome effect on the lips, without being over drying, it dries down, and melts perfectly into the lip color that it coats. I do have a complaint though, I don’t like the applicator brush, it makes the product clump together, and get chunky, which does goes away once it is applied to the lips, but it could’ve been more thought out, and designed better, I do however love the packaging, and the product is great, I know other’s haven’t enjoyed it, but I do like it, and think it does exactly what it was intended to do, which is transform your lips, and give a completely different look to them, while maintaining moisture, and smoothness. I think you should give it a try, I think you will love it as much as I do! I always love Urban Decay products, and some of them are my absolute favorite!! Thank you for reading!

What it is:
A top coat that transforms any lip color for a completely customized look.

What it does:
Go from all-business to a party look in one swipe with Urban Decay’s Vice Special Effects Long-Lasting Water-Resistant Lip Topcoat. It transforms any lip color from beautiful to beyond. Apply this shade-shifting topcoat over cream, metallized and matte shades of UD’s Vice Lipstick or any Vice Liquid Lipstick to create a completely customized look.

Instantly morph your favorite colors and make it look like you spent hours crafting an Instagram-worthy lip look—or wear these shades alone. Available in shimmer, glitter, and metallic finishes, Urban Decay’s innovative, comfortable, gel-cream formula dries down quickly for long-lasting wear that never feels sticky. Vice Special Effects not only lasts, but also creates a water-resistant barrier that seals in the color underneath and prevents it from moving around on your lips.

Vice Special Effects comes in a clear tube (so you can see the shade inside) with gold accents. To set it apart from Vice Liquid Lipstick, Urban Decay gave it an iridescent white cap. The flexible brush applicator helps the formula glide on smoothly, without messing up any lipstick underneath. Marine Filling Spheres™, rich in marine collagen, deliver moisturizing and skin-smoothing properties.

Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops Review in the color **rosé**

Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops rosé review, hello there lovies, let’s jump right into today’s blog post!! Let me tell you, it’s a pretty one, and the pigment is incredible as well, so so beautiful!! So, I am first going to say, that I got these at a discount, thankfully, I paid $14.99 for this, it is full size, and was brand new in the box! I found it at Marshall’s! I have found TONS of the Algenist line at Marshall’s, and TJmaxx in the last month or so, amazing deals, literally half the price of retail, I have picked up a few of the makeup products, this being one of them, and have really been loving them so far, so I thought I would do a review for this one, since it’s my favorite, and SO beautiful! My Marshall’s only had 1 of these, so I had to grab it! I was excited, because I have a sample size of this, and have tried it, and knew it was an awesome highlighter/ illuminizer! This comes in 3 different shades, the one that I was able to purchase is in the shade Rose, yes it’s gorgeous, and a must have in my opinion! It is so versatile, and is very light in formula, and I love putting just a little on the tops of my cheek bones, it gives the perfect amount of shine, and shimmer, but still remains light, not overpowering, without the chunky glitter look. Also, a little of this goes a long way, so this bottle will last for years I am sure! This is available at Sephora and retails for $38, but you can find them at TJMaxx, and Marshall’s right now, you just have to look! This is actually healthy, and good for your skin, check out the chart below! Buy it at Sephora.com here

Sephora Play Box May 2017 #264 Review (it’s a good one)

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Hello all you lovely people, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and a good start to your week, boo for Monday, right? Oh well, got to get er done! I have been so incredibly busy with work, no time for blogging once again, but this week it is a slow week, so I plan on doing lots of catching up, I am going to Las Vegas again for work at the end of this week, yeah, so excited for some sunshine, and pool time! I plan on having pre scheduled posts though for next week, so I have lots of catching up to do, I need to work on being more consistent, that’s for sure, and something I know I need to work, and make time on! Thank you for your continued support, and hanging in there, and reading my posts, I love you all for that!! I’ve got some fun posts coming up this week, starting with today’s post on the Sephora play box for May 2017, it’s a pretty good box, and I am pretty satisfied with it, so even though it’s late, I still wanted to share it with you all, I hope you enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions, etc! The Sephora play box is $10 a month, which includes shipping, it’s a great deal, and I definitely recommend it, it’s been really good lately, and offers a great variety of products, and brands to try out! It’s such a fun way to experiment, and sample different brands that I normally wouldn’t be able to try, or wouldn’t be interested in trying as well, so like I said, it’s definitely worth a try, if you haven’t subscribed already!! You can sign up for it on the Sephora website, at Subscribe Here for Sephora Play Box! Thanks for reading, and let’s dive right into what I got in my Sephora Play Box!

The Subscription Box: Play! by Sephora

The Cost: $10

The Products: Five deluxe samples plus a fragrance sample, a PLAY! BOOK of tips and tricks, and a PLAY! PASS for in-store learning.

Each box comes with a Play! Pass, which is a card you can use at Sephora (in-store) to get 50 extra rewards points, and you can also get one-on-one tutorials and tips of products from a Sephora consultant.

FYI – The box variation I received this month is box ending in #264. I don’t know, or there is no way to know which box you will be receiving until you see the item number when it ships in your account, it varies a lot! To find out which box you’re receiving at the beginning of each month, follow these instructions:
“If you log in through a browser, not the app, and go to my account > account details > online orders and open the play! Order Details, you can see the “item number” next to the image.”

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt – 1.35 fl oz, Value $9.50

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser – 1 oz, Value $10.71

TreStique Highlight & Perfect Multipurpose Stick – .05 oz?, Value $8?

NudeStix Magnetic Matte Lip Color in Greystone – Value $9?

Grande Cosmetics GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper – sample size, Value $4?

Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk – sample vial, Value ?

My Review: Wow, see I told you this was a good box! I am really glad that I got this box, the overall value is around $41, and it only cost me $10 (shipping included) I think that is an amazing value this month. This variation was perfect for me, Sephora is getting better at picking the right products for me,  yeah! I really enjoy everything in the box, the only product that was new to me, that I haven’t tried out was the Grande Lips lip plumper in clear. I have heard of the brand, but I haven’t tried it until getting it in the box, I like it, but it wasn’t very plumping, I am used to products like too faced lip injection, or buxom lip plumping glosses, this was a nice gloss, but it didn’t really do anything for my lips, I will continue to use it though as a clear gloss, or clear topper. Everything else I have tried, and really enjoy a ready. I especially love the Christophe Robin cleansing purifying scrub with sea salt, I have tried this before, and loved the way it made my hair feel, this brand has really impressed me with all their products that I have tried, I may even consider purchasing a full size at some point, I also really love the way it smells, it’s the perfect beachy scent! This month’s box overall was great, I am excited to continue to try out the products! Can’t wait to see what next months box will bring!

New!! Benefit Cosmetics GALifornia Blush Review

Screen Shot 2017-05-20 at 4.58.16 PM.png

What It Is:
A sunny, golden pink blush.

What It Does:
Benefit’s GALifornia golden pink blush blends bright pink with shimmering gold, for a sunkissed glow that complements all skin tones. The embellished gold overspray lifts away with each use, and the formula is infused with a subtle shimmer throughout that gives your cheeks a soft sheen. The signature Galifornia Dreamin’ scent features notes of pink grapefruit and vanilla. It comes complete with a custom, rounded blush brush and a mirror for soft, diffused application.

Beauty Tip:
For a deeper pop of pink, layer GALifornia on top of posietint poppy-pink tinted cheek and lip stain.

My Review:

First off, is this not the cutest packaging you have ever seen? I am so in love with this cuteness!! I love all of benefit cosmetics boxed powders, they are just the cutest! I am going to say something negative first though about the cute, and adorable packaging…… well, it isn’t durable at all, mine that I bought came with a partial tear in the lid, and that was really disappointing, the paper on this for the packaging doesn’t seem as thick, or as durable as the others in the past unfortunately. This blush retails for $29, which I think is a bit pricy for what it is, yes the pan size is large, but not for the actual amount you are paying in my opinion, the packaging is literally paper covered cardboard, and seems to be thrown together, not the usual quality that these typically are. Maybe I just got a poorly made one, but it was something I wanted to mention. The design of the gal on the front is super cute though, I love her glasses! Anyways, let’s talk about the actual product, the blush itself, it’s the cutest color, and shade of pink peach, the gold tones it down, while adding a gentle, and subtle glow, and shimmer. I always tend to be attracted to these types of blush shades, I like my blush to have a little bit of shimmer, without being over glittery, or to much of a shine, because let’s be real, this is a blush, not a highlighter. It really provides a beautiful coral, peach color to the cheeks. It truly is beautiful, and lasts all day without budging! I think this is a great addition to the benefit cosmetics boxed powder lineup, and a must have for a makeup collection! P.S. the brush it comes with is a cute wood handle small brush, that is good quality, but very difficult to hold, and use because of it’s size, but it is useable, and cute!

Screen Shot 2017-05-20 at 4.58.34 PM.png

Thank you so much for checking out my blog post today, I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your week, and let me know your thoughts, and opinions on this beautiful GALifornia blush by benefit cosmetics. Thanks for reading.

HIGH end beauty Las Vegas outlet shopping haul *Tom Ford, NARS, Burberry, Estee Edit*

IMG_9916IMG_9915

Hello, hello lovies. Good day to all of you, okay, it’s night time when I am writing this post, but yes, it will be morning when this is posted 🙂 I hope your day is going wonderful so far, hopefully my day will be awesome as well. I mentioned in my last post yesterday that I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas, and had a great time, sunshine, pooltime, great food, and amazing shopping deals, are always so fun, right? My gosh, this was a great time this time, I really needed some sunshine, and pooltime to relax, but I got so damn sunburnt that I had to take a little break from the pools, and go shopping, my second favorite thing to do in Las Vegas besides the pool! Shopping is always so different in Las Vegas, because you just never know! I decided to try the North (in downtown Las Vegas) outlet mall this time, next time when I go in June, I want to go again to the North, but also want to see what is at the South, I also didn’t have time to do any other shopping this time, so gotta make more time for that next time as well! I am all about finding good deals!! I found some amazing deals on makeup this time, yeah!!! I couldn’t believe it, I was literally SO freaking excited when I saw there was a bare minerals store in the outlet, and a cosmetics company store as well, yeah!! I walked in to both of these stores, and almost cried lol, oh joys of a makeup lover lol! So anyways check out everything I got!! I will post the prices I paid as well just so you all know, what kind of amazing shopping deals you can get at these types of outlet stores in Las Vegas, so totally worth the trip, p.s. I took the bus from Bellagio, where I stayed to get there, it was definitely the way to save money, and travel while in Las Vegas, highly recommend it! Please let me know your favorite thing from my haul, I am curious to know, my favorite thing was both of the Tom Ford items, that bronzer/highlighter duo is LIFE, I saw it, and freaked out, so so beautiful my gosh yes!! These are my first 2 Tom Ford items in my collection, fyi, they are full of luxury, and elegance that’s for sure, simply stunning, and so is the price tag, lol, even at outlet prices!! I splurged, it’s always good to treat yourself every once in a while, why is makeup so beautiful, and pretty? LOL! Enjoy my haul! You can live through me, and my bad shopping habits! 🙂 Oh, and I do want to mention that Bare Minerals offers a free birthday gift (the full size eyeshadow) for your birthday, mine was April 14th, and I am a member because I am a Bare Minerals junkie, lol, so I got that for free! Also, the store was having an additional percent off because it was the weekend, so I really got great deals, I don’t know if they do this on non weekend’s though, so you may just get lucky like I did! The cosmetics company store was doing an additional 1/2 off everything in the store except Tom Ford, but that’s okay, they were still great prices!

Tom Ford Bronzer/Highlighter Duo: $54

Tom Ford Eyeshadow Duo: $42

Burberry Eyeshadow: $16.24

Burberry Lipstick: $18.48

Burberry Lip Gloss: $15.97

Nars Laguna bronzer: $37.96

Pixi by Petra Mist Collection Haul & Review #MultiMisting

Screen Shot 2017-05-15 at 1.30.42 PM.png

Hi there lovies!! Happy Monday, I hope you are all doing well, and had a good weekend, and start to your week this week! I am super excited this week, because I took a little break, not sure how time flew by so fast, but it did, it really wasn’t a planned break, but I guess it happened! I had a great trip to Las Vegas, and it was amazing as usual, I am also going back in less then a month, yeah again! Life just gets busy sometimes, but need to be better about making blogging a priority! Anyways, today’s blog is a good one!! I am reviewing the Pixi by Petra Mists, Pixi by Petra was kind enough to send these beauties to me in PR to try out, and I am obsessed with everything Pixi, so I was excited to get to try out all the different formula mists, and for different uses! Gosh, I love these all, but I am going to focus my review on the Pixi by Petra makeup fixing mist, otherwise it would take me forever to review them all, lol! So let’s jump right into the review, I hope you all enjoy!

Okay, let me just say that I have never tried a Pixi by Petra product that I didn’t love, this brand is what I call a high end drugstore brand. Yes it is a drugstore brand technically, but it is of higher quality, and are amazing products! This is available at Target, and Target.com, and on the Pixi by Petra website for $15, which isn’t super cheap, but I feel like for the price, you are getting a good amount of product! These are 2.70 ounces, which will last for a while, which is awesome! I also really love, and enjoy the way it pumps, and sprays. The mist is literally a mist, it is gentle, yet, sprays the right amount of mist to work! It makes my skin feel refreshed, and is gentle enough to use daily to set your makeup. It doesn’t spray out in heavy droplets, and won’t leave spots on your face, or ruin your makeup thankfully. This is a great way to set any beautiful makeup look, or just to use without makeup, if you need a refreshing, or if it’s a hot, and sweaty day. All of the Pixi by Petra sprays are for multiple uses, and can provide a variety of uses, to suit your needs. I definitely recommend trying any of these mists out, but especially the makeup fixing mist, as I really enjoyed the way that it worked, and fyi, I have acne prone, oily skin, so I do tend to get oily through out the day, and need my makeup to be refreshed, so it’s not cakey, and oily looking, this is the perfect spray for that, and is perfect for on the go! Please feel free to check out my previous Pixi by Petra reviews, they are amazing products, at affordable prices! Enjoy! #MultiMisting

Goodwill/Thrift Haul For April 2017

PicMonkey Image

Hello hello lovies!! I hope you are all having a fantastic day, and are ready for another goodwill/thrift haul!! This is everything that I purchased at Goodwill in the last month, the month of April, I say this every time, but I got some amazing stuff this month, and am so lucky to have found what I have! I honestly never know what I may find, and it’s always a chance, or a risk, but So worth while looking, and sometimes I come out with a a lot, a few, or nothing, you never know what you will find, it’s the hunt that is my favorite! I look at it like a treasure hunt, never knowing what I may find, it’s a ton of fun, but I have always been this way, I love finding good deals, and treasures, but who doesn’t right? I am continuing to do this blog series, as it seems like I am getting a lot of positive feedback, and you are all enjoying it! I appreciate your continued support in this series, and checking out, and sometimes being jealous of my finds, hey I am jealous of the people that was able to find even cooler stuff then me, for example, in this haul, I went into my local goodwill, and the woman (all the employees know me) said, oh ya, we had a bunch of Urban Decay stuff, but they are gone already, I almost died, lol, I got the 2 that were left, they were priced at $2.99 each, yes they are bright purple, but come on I couldn’t pass them up!! So ya, I know how it feels for sure, I can’t go every day, lol, although some people definitely do! So, I always feel fortunate to find such amazing stuff when I do go! Like I have said, I go to about 6 different stores in my area, I am so lucky to have so many so close to me, and live in a very eco-friendly, recycle friendly city/state, yes Oregon is seriously the best, and am so thankful I live in this beautiful state!! I will link below my other goodwill hauls I have done, and ps, I don’t even share everything that I purchase, like clothes, etc, because somethings are just to hard to photograph lol! I hope you enjoy my finds, if you are curious on prices that I paid on anything just ask! 🙂 Here are my favorite things this month that I found! What do you think? What is your favorite? Tarte Cosmetics: Make Believe In Yourself Collection Haul

Screen Shot 2017-04-22 at 9.50.05 PM

Hello all my beautiful lovies!! Happy weekend, I hope you are all doing well, and having a lovely weekend, even though it’s the end, lol! Sorry about not posting this week, I didn’t really mean to not post, it just kind of happened, life I guess! I am playing a bit of catch up with everything, and today I have a fun post, that I have been meaning to get up for a while, sorry it’s late, but still relevant for sure. I feel in love with this collection the second I saw it, even when it wasn’t even available yet. I love it all, seriously everything is SO beautiful, I wanted the entire collection, but just ended up purchasing most of them 🙂 I couldn’t resist, the packaging, and rainbow, unicorn design is EVERYTHING! I knew I had to have at least the brush set, and the eyeshadow palette, because they are just a must have in my book, and were screaming my name, definite must haves! Tarte Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands, always have been, and have many of their products, including about every blush they have lol, for real though, I love everything Tarte! Let’s jump right into the haul, I didn’t do swatches this time, because their are already so many online, so I mainly just wanted to share my haul, and what I got from the collection with all of you, let me know if you got anything from the make believe in yourself collection, and how you like it! I am loving everything so far, my favorite it is the brush set, the unicorn handles and colors of the bristles are just so pretty, love them, they are absolutely stunning, and are very high quality! My other favorite is the eyeshadow palette, I am obsessed with metallic shades, so I knew I would love these, they are very pigmented, but my only complaint is that they don’t transfer well to the eyelid with a brush unfortunately, it’s almost to powdery of a formula, you really have to layer up a bit to achieve the pigmentation, which is a bummer, because you have to use a lot of product. I do LOVE the lights, camera, lashes mascara, it’s always been a favorite mascara of mine, this limited edition holographic packaging really gives me life, I can’t stop starring at it, it lengthens my lashes, and adds volume, love this mascara formula! I recommend at least getting the mascara, just for the formula, and beautiful packaging! 🙂
