Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2017 Review

Hi there all my lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, and happy hump day, lol, let’s jump right into today’s blog, because I only have a limited amount of time today (it’s nap time) so I am going to rush through this blog post today, I hope that’s okay. I just received my Walmart Beauty Box for Spring a few days ago, and wanted to get it up for you all as soon as possible, in case it’s still available, and you wanted to get one! The Walmart Beauty Box is $5 (that covers shipping, the box is free) this box is all beauty related, and is shipped quarterly, which is 4 boxes a year, 1 box per season. When you sign up for the box, it is automatically paid, and the $5 is deducted from your account for the box. I have been a subscriber since the first box was released, and think it’s a great valued box, although I do feel like the brands repeat quite a bit unfortunately, and wish they would get new brands to be in the box. I love trying out new products, hint to why I am a beauty blogger, lol, right? so this box has always been good for me, and a good deal, because otherwise I wouldn’t have the opportunity to try out these products. Everything that is sampled in the box can be found at Walmart, which I shop at anyways, so it is very easy to pick up the full size products, if I end up liking them, which is nice. Let’s check out everything that I got in my Spring beauty box, and fyi the box will vary depending on your age, I am 35, so I am not sure which box I get, and may have changed my age at some point to get the younger box lol, which I believe is called the “trendsetter” but, who knows! Hello, hello my beautiful lovies!! I hope you are all having a great Monday, and an amazing start to your day!! Today’s blog is a pretty one, thank you for joining me, and checking out my review. I am reviewing this Pixi by Petra, we are just going to refer to it as Pixi from now on in the blog just to make it easier on myself, lol. I was excited that I received this as PR from Pixi, they are the best, and I love all of their amazing products!! I really love getting packages from them, and feel very lucky! They sent me this beautifully cute 3 piece beauty kit, it is available at Target, and online at Pixi by Petra. This kit retails for $22.00, this kit is available in 2 different options, and collections, today I am reviewing the hello! Rose beauty kit, and it is part of their new collection, which is perfect for Spring! The kit was sent with real mini rose petals, their PR packages are the best, they really make an effort for packaging, and presentation! Opening the packaging it smelt like roses, such a bonus! This kit is perfect for any rose lover, the colors in the kit are so pretty, and pink, yet delicate, and will suite many skin tones, because of the light colors. I literally haven’t found a product that I don’t love from Pixi, they are hands down my favorite drugstore (high end drugstore) brand, I have been using, and loving their products for years!! This little kit is perfect for someone who wants to try out their products, without spending to much, etc. My favorite thing in this kit is the lip gloss, it’s the most beautiful shade of pink, it’s not to bright, or overpowering, it’s the perfect nude mauve, not sticky on the lips, and has a good wear time, and smells sweet, and glides on the lips effortlessly. I love this lip gloss, I will be getting it in the full size! I also really love the blush duo, the pink is subtle, and easily blendable into the skin, the highlight side of the duo is the same, and perfect for highlighting under the brow bone, or the cheeks, I used it for both, and love the color, and touch of bling it provides! This 3 piece beauty kit is defintely worth a try, as I am sure you will find a favorite, and fall in love with Pixi by Petra!

Mac Cosmetics “Work It Out” Collection Prep & Prime Setting Spray Fix + Rose & Lavender Review

Hello there all my lovies!! Thank you for joining me today on the blog! This week has been busy as usual, and am playing a little bit of catch up, but hey, what else is new! I hope you are all having a great day!! Sorry this post is posting late, as I usually post in the morning at 8AM, but just didn’t have time to get the post up early, and I figured better late then never! So on the blog today, I have had these for about a month now unfortunately, and had the post on my “to do” list, and am just now finally getting around to it, I’m sorry, I missed the ball on this one, and they are all sold out now at stores online, and on Mac Cosmetics online. I knew these would be popular, and sell out fast, I am really glad that I snagged 2 when they came out! These are from Mac Cosmetics, one of my absolute favorite makeup up brands, and products, these were part of the work it out collection, and were special edition. Most of the collection is still available online though, just all 3 of these special edition fix+ collection are sold out. I did purchase mine at Nordstrom, so I got lucky before they sold out. When these were released in the full size, they were very popular, and sold out very quick, I actually didn’t purchase them, in hopes that mini’s would come out, okay, let’s be real, it takes me FOREVER to go through a full size of anything especially fix+ since I don’t use it every day, and only use it on special occasions on my brush to make pigment brighter, and as a setting spray when I really want my makeup to stay put, definitely not something I use daily, or even weekly for that matter, so I knew I really just wanted a mini, or 2, and I wanted all 3 scents originally, but settled with just the 2, since I didn’t really like the scent of the coconut scented one. I have been using these two, the rose, and the lavender, and they last forever, so I am glad I got the minis! The spray on these are amazing, I think I am going to save the bottles, and refill them with maybe a toner for my skincare, because the way these spray are absolute perfection, it dispenses the perfect amount needed, I really enjoy them a lot! These both smell amazing, without being over powering, the lavender is my favorite of the two! Fix+ makes any eyeshadow brighter, making any type of pigmented product wet, makes them more intense, and stand out more, I have been using this product, (the regular fix+) for years, it really does make a difference when you are going for more bold eye looks. This product has many uses though, so the uses are endless, and very versatile.

Pump up your look by sweeping on one of 16 bold-as-you-dare shades of In Extreme Dimension Lash. Origins “My Perfect World” Launch Event in Portland, Oregon for Influenster

Hi there lovies, and welcome to the blog this fine Monday morning! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, and end to your week last week. I was very busy working, (playing mommy for 5 days to a year old baby girl) Very fun, but I am exhausted!! I wanted to get a blog post up this morning to talk about a great event I went to on Friday night! As you may have heard, Origins was having an exclusive launch party (only in select cities, and locations) I guess I got lucky! I was one of the lucky ones, that literally was having one of the launch parties in my city, yeah! I was notified of it by influenster, and getting into the origins vox box skincare line for the my perfect world launch party. Upon getting into the launch event, and influenster voxbox, they sent me a great selection of skincare deluxe size samples to try, which I was expecting full size, and actually expecting to get to try this actual skincare line, so it was odd that nothing from this new launch was included in the box that I got from influenster, I was a bit shocked, and disappointed, isn’t that what the whole point of the launch is so us “influensters” can try the actual product? Hmm, ya I was a bit confused, and definitely disappointed to say the least. I am grateful that they sent some skincare items to try yes, but it would have been nice to try these new launched products before the actual launch event, don’t you agree? Oh well, and of course I love them, lol, that’s just how it happens I guess! So let’s talk about the launch party, the way it was organized wasn’t very good, I got there right at 5, at the start time, and had a baby in tow, I was baby wearing her, because it’s a very small store, and she was being really happy, and good thankfully! So as this was a launch event, I believed it was going to be exclusively to influensters only, nope I was wrong, it’s like the people were not informed or something, some were, some weren’t. All of us women were in the store to do the same thing, some women stuck around, some did what they needed to do for the influenster badges, and left, I tried to mingle, and stay around, and chat with others, yes all while having a 12 month old 🙂 On the invite, it made it seem like there were going to be appetizers, drinks, etc. and nope, just tea, water, and mini cupcakes, also the free mini facials that you had to sign up for were supposed to be 20 minutes, umm ya, more like 3 minutes, again disappointed. Another huge disappointment was that they were sold out of the product I wanted, what I came for, they were offering a 20% off the entire store during the launch, so I really wanted the modern friction scrub in the full size, I love that stuff, and they were sold out, they only had the mini size, bummer, and let them know that I was disappointed. There were some fun aspects to the party, there was an artist who was doing charcoal sketches which was fun, he was talented, but I guess I should’ve smiled lol! There was also a tea reading, which I didn’t do because the reader was taking a very long time, but that would have been fun to do. I ended up getting 2 sample mask packs, upon checkout, I had to ask for samples, and the free journal they were giving out, because I saw others with it, I was like seriously? Anyways, all in all, the store, and the skincare is absolutely beautiful, but clearly, they had some work to do, and left disappointed, but not as I was expecting a lot more, especially since influenster made it seem like it was a huge deal, etc. I’m glad I went because I met a cool chick that had a purse full of lipsense, so I bought “praline rose” and “glossy gloss” on the spot, thanks paypal lol! I am SO excited I ran into her, because I have been dying to try it, and fell in love with the color, and staying power, so I did get lucky there! Glad I attended the party, and I hope more launch parties will be better in the future, but do love the new my perfect world skincare line. Check out the pics from the event!!

I am here to bring you a really fun blog post today! I am a member to a bunch of different makeup groups on Facebook, and someone posted these for sale/swap, and I KNEW they had to be mine!! They were sold out at the time, and going for around $100-$150 on eBay for the set, so I was able to swap/purchase these from a seller, I got very lucky, because they were untouched still in their packages, so so lucky!! I jumped on them hotter then a hot tamale, lol, no joke! Okay, let me admit something here first, I did purchase these off of amazon, NO not these from unicorn lashes, the very cheap, generic version, I bought the entire set for $18, I received them in the mail, and immediately knew I would be sending them back, they smelt horrible, like paint, glue, and were nothing like the real, authentic brushes from unicorn lashes, not even close!!!! So back they went, and the next day I was lucky enough to swap/ purchase these, so I was super excited, and happy! I am, and was since I was a kid obsessed with anything unicorns, lately as an adult, not as much except for the last year, I am in love with anything translucent, unicorns, etc. and fell in love with these brushes the moment I saw them, so felt okay with spending the money, and getting them for myself because I knew I would love, and cherish them, and let me tell you, I am so happy with my swap/ purchase, I am literally in love with these brushes!! They are such high quality (like my MAC brushes) they are amazing, and finely made, the “horns” handles of the brushes are beautiful, it’s like your looking at an opal when you look at them, and the brush bristles, OMG can we take a moment? They are pure heaven, so rainbow, I don’t know how they did it, but they did, and I am SO glad I was able to get them!! The case that these come in just may be my favorite as well, not only is it beautiful, and so pretty, but very functional, because it stores each individual brush perfectly, so they are evenly spaced, and separated. Whole Foods Beauty Bag 2017 “Beauty Week” Review

Hello lovies!! Welcome, welcome to the blog today, let me tell ya what a day, what a different kind of day, I can’t really go into detail here, or anywhere for that matter, but what a day, it was a good day though, just unexpected, and I saw an unexpected person, it went good though, so I am thankful for that, anyways, I am laying in bed right now, and catching up on youtube videos, per usual, and really wanted to get this blog post up asap! This blog post is about the Whole Foods Beauty bag for 2017! This week is beauty week at Whole Foods, and these beauty bags are an amazing deal, so if you have a whole foods near you, and want one of these, I recommend calling them before going, because most stores only get 50, and are already sold out, I know, I apologize for the late notice, but I was able to snag one on Friday when they released, and wanted to share with you, just in case their are still some out there, and to let you know that it’s beauty week, so all the skincare, and beauty is 25% off right now, it’s an amazing deal, so be sure to stock up while it’s on sale, because you can save a ton of money! My favorite skincare brand ACURE is sold at whole foods, and I always have to stock up while they are on sale, because what is better then saving money on what you love, and will continue to use? Yeah for deals! So more details about the bag, every time in the past couple years, Whole Foods releases a beauty bag for the beginning to beauty week, to kick off the event, they are always amazing value, and yes, I didn’t even know they were releasing, and saw a post, and immediately called, and had them put one on hold for me, I got lucky, very lucky thankfully. I have gotten the some in the past (I try and get them all) but I missed the last one, so I was lucky to get one this time, and was super excited! Goodwill/Thrift Shopping Haul Beauty

Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, you obviously came because you are interested in seeing how I got all of these amazing beauty products at goodwill right? Well, let me tell you, I sure did, everything you are seeing in the pictures were purchased at Goodwill. I am so incredibly lucky to have the best goodwill stores in the country, and feel very fortunate to be able to shop at several different locations, I have about 10 I circulate, and shop at regularly. There are sometimes were I find, and purchase lots of good stuff, but there are also times where I walk out with nothing. Please remember that all of these items were not purchased at the same time, or even the same day for that matter. I just get lucky, very lucky! 🙂 Most of my purchases are brand new, this post has one vintage item (the vintage gold Avon candle) sometimes I find vintage, and sometimes I find brand new donated from Target, it all just depends on the day, and what I find. I love the hunt, and the thrill of finding treasures, or my unicorns! I will include my other posts that I have posted, I will continue to post monthly post hauls, because you all really seem to enjoy them! Please keep the positive comments coming, and the negative away, I would appreciate it a lot! Let’s check out all I was able to find this month, I purchased some amazing deals, I am excited to try everything out! I am in love with the vintage Avon candle holder, it is perfect for my beauty room, it has the original candle inside even, unburned, pretty cool that I was able to find it, it smells terrible, but I love it, and for $2.99 it was such a bargain! I am also excited about all the shampoo/ conditioner that I was able to find, and will be using, perfect for my color treated hair, and they all smell amazing! I also love that I found Pixi by Petra makeup, Pixi is one of my favorite makeup at the drugstore (Target) brands, and I am a blogger for them as well. I have found a lot over the years of Pixi, and love when I do! The eyeshadow palette is from 2015 holiday collection, so that was an awesome find! Milani “Keep It Sweet” Sugar Lip Scrub & “Keep It Sweet” Sugar Lip Treatment Review

Hello lovies, welcome to the blog today, I hope you are all doing well, and happy Friday, yeah it’s Friday already, I really can’t believe it, this week sure has flown by! I wanted to at least get 2 blog posts up this week, to keep up with goals, because last week was a bust, to busy I tell ya! I hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing, and enjoyable weekend! I also hope the weather is nice, and warm, and sunny for you, I sure hope it is for me that’s for sure, please sun, please come visit me, lol!! 

I have a fun post for you today, I was able to purchase this set from a private seller in a makeup group, because none of my local drugstores carry them, I knew they were releasing, and really wanted to give them a try, because I don’t own anything from Milani, and I am obsessed with lip scrubs, and treatments, so these were a must have, must try for me. I was so lucky to find them for sale, and she shipped them to me. I got them a while ago, and am just now getting around to trying them, and OMG I am in love, I will definitely be purchasing these again when they run out. These retails for $10 each, and are available at drugstores, although Milani does go on sale from time to time, so they do go on sale. These are both hard to find as I know, and when they are restocked, they do sell out quickly, because they are quite popular, and everyone loves them, and I can see why! I love both of them. They smell so sweet like vanilla cupcakes, no joke, or like frosting, the scent is amazing, and isn’t over powering, or to strong. My lips in the winter get very dry, and cracked, and I am always looking for a good lip scrub, and treatment, I use both of these products now 2-3 times a week, and it is really helping to not only exfoliate my lips, but truly moisturize them as well. I think purchasing both was the smartest idea, because using the combination really seems to work the best, although I do use just the lip treatment on it’s own throughout the day as well, and enjoy it on it’s own, it keeps my lips supple, and juicy feeling, much lip a balm, but a thick balm, so it’s really a treatment. This especially works well overnight, it’s my favorite, and lives on my nightstand! It’s a must have in my opinion, and definitely recommend it! Milani is a great brand, and has a lot of great products, I would love to try more now! Let me know if you have tried either of these, and how you like them! Hello lovies!! I hope you are all having a great end to your week, boy has this week seriously flown by SO fast!! So much for keeping my goal of posting 3 times a week, man what happened I tell ya! I seriously am obsessed with all the Sephora Favorites, but the lippy sets always speak to me the most, and I just love them, this one was all nudes, what is better then that? This is a must have for any nude lippy lover like myself! Sephora Favorites give me some nude lip set retails for $28, but it is an $88 value, so these Sephora Favorites kits are always an amazing deal, they do sell out fast, as this one has in the past, but it is restocked now currently online, I am not sure if it is in stores or not though, hopefully they are! Hello lovies!! OMG so this just happened today, I feel like I have been waiting forever for this collection to launch from Tarte Cosmetics, maybe it really wasn’t forever, but it sure felt like it, it must because I KNEW I had to have it all, this was right up my alley, and literally was calling my name, “Come and buy me Renee, it’s so magical, and it’s everything you’ve ever dreamed of” yep, that’s it, lol! How many of you all did this collection say the same to? I mean holographic, magical, glitter, glam, and beautiful all wrapped in a collection by one of my favorite beauty/makeup brands, yes please, can I get a hell yes? lol! So, the purpose of this post is to share photos, and links, so you can also get your hands on this collection! It just launched today on the Tarte Cosmetics website, and will be launching at Sephora (app only) on Friday March 17th, and Ulta I am not sure when, also I am not sure of when this collection will be launching in stores. I can keep this post updated though 🙂 Okay, this collection is absolutely stunning!! The entire collection is special limited edition so please if you want anything in this collection, don’t wait, as I am sure it will all sell out quickly. I mean, just the packaging alone, OMG, I literally screamed when I saw previews of this collection, I am a Tarte Cosmetics junkie, and own MANY of their products, including pretty much every large palette, and every blush, lol, no joke.
