Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops rosé review, hello there lovies, let’s jump right into today’s blog post!! Let me tell you, it’s a pretty one, and the pigment is incredible as well, so so beautiful!! So, I am first going to say, that I got these at a discount, thankfully, I paid $14.99 for this, it is full size, and was brand new in the box! I found it at Marshall’s! I have found TONS of the Algenist line at Marshall’s, and TJmaxx in the last month or so, amazing deals, literally half the price of retail, I have picked up a few of the makeup products, this being one of them, and have really been loving them so far, so I thought I would do a review for this one, since it’s my favorite, and SO beautiful! My Marshall’s only had 1 of these, so I had to grab it! I was excited, because I have a sample size of this, and have tried it, and knew it was an awesome highlighter/ illuminizer! This comes in 3 different shades, the one that I was able to purchase is in the shade Rose, yes it’s gorgeous, and a must have in my opinion! It is so versatile, and is very light in formula, and I love putting just a little on the tops of my cheek bones, it gives the perfect amount of shine, and shimmer, but still remains light, not overpowering, without the chunky glitter look. Also, a little of this goes a long way, so this bottle will last for years I am sure! Hello, hello lovies. Good day to all of you, okay, it’s night time when I am writing this post, but yes, it will be morning when this is posted 🙂 I hope your day is going wonderful so far, hopefully my day will be awesome as well. I mentioned in my last post yesterday that I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas, and had a great time, sunshine, pooltime, great food, and amazing shopping deals, are always so fun, right? My gosh, this was a great time this time, I really needed some sunshine, and pooltime to relax, but I got so damn sunburnt that I had to take a little break from the pools, and go shopping, my second favorite thing to do in Las Vegas besides the pool! Shopping is always so different in Las Vegas, because you just never know! I decided to try the North (in downtown Las Vegas) outlet mall this time, next time when I go in June, I want to go again to the North, but also want to see what is at the South, I also didn’t have time to do any other shopping this time, so gotta make more time for that next time as well! I am all about finding good deals!! I found some amazing deals on makeup this time, yeah!!! I couldn’t believe it, I was literally SO freaking excited when I saw there was a bare minerals store in the outlet, and a cosmetics company store as well, yeah!! I walked in to both of these stores, and almost cried lol, oh joys of a makeup lover lol! So anyways check out everything I got!! I will post the prices I paid as well just so you all know, what kind of amazing shopping deals you can get at these types of outlet stores in Las Vegas, so totally worth the trip, p.s. I took the bus from Bellagio, where I stayed to get there, it was definitely the way to save money, and travel while in Las Vegas, highly recommend it! Please let me know your favorite thing from my haul, I am curious to know, my favorite thing was both of the Tom Ford items, that bronzer/highlighter duo is LIFE, I saw it, and freaked out, so so beautiful my gosh yes!! These are my first 2 Tom Ford items in my collection, fyi, they are full of luxury, and elegance that’s for sure, simply stunning, and so is the price tag, lol, even at outlet prices!! I splurged, it’s always good to treat yourself every once in a while, why is makeup so beautiful, and pretty? LOL! Enjoy my haul! You can live through me, and my bad shopping habits! 🙂 Oh, and I do want to mention that Bare Minerals offers a free birthday gift (the full size eyeshadow) for your birthday, mine was April 14th, and I am a member because I am a Bare Minerals junkie, lol, so I got that for free! Also, the store was having an additional percent off because it was the weekend, so I really got great deals, I don’t know if they do this on non weekend’s though, so you may just get lucky like I did! The cosmetics company store was doing an additional 1/2 off everything in the store except Tom Ford, but that’s okay, they were still great prices!

Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2017 Review

Hi there all my lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, and happy hump day, lol, let’s jump right into today’s blog, because I only have a limited amount of time today (it’s nap time) so I am going to rush through this blog post today, I hope that’s okay. I just received my Walmart Beauty Box for Spring a few days ago, and wanted to get it up for you all as soon as possible, in case it’s still available, and you wanted to get one! The Walmart Beauty Box is $5 (that covers shipping, the box is free) this box is all beauty related, and is shipped quarterly, which is 4 boxes a year, 1 box per season. When you sign up for the box, it is automatically paid, and the $5 is deducted from your account for the box. I have been a subscriber since the first box was released, and think it’s a great valued box, although I do feel like the brands repeat quite a bit unfortunately, and wish they would get new brands to be in the box. I love trying out new products, hint to why I am a beauty blogger, lol, right? so this box has always been good for me, and a good deal, because otherwise I wouldn’t have the opportunity to try out these products. Everything that is sampled in the box can be found at Walmart, which I shop at anyways, so it is very easy to pick up the full size products, if I end up liking them, which is nice. Let’s check out everything that I got in my Spring beauty box, and fyi the box will vary depending on your age, I am 35, so I am not sure which box I get, and may have changed my age at some point to get the younger box lol, which I believe is called the “trendsetter” but, who knows! Welcome, welcome to the blog today, let me tell ya what a day, what a different kind of day, I can’t really go into detail here, or anywhere for that matter, but what a day, it was a good day though, just unexpected, and I saw an unexpected person, it went good though, so I am thankful for that, anyways, I am laying in bed right now, and catching up on youtube videos, per usual, and really wanted to get this blog post up asap! This blog post is about the Whole Foods Beauty bag for 2017! This week is beauty week at Whole Foods, and these beauty bags are an amazing deal, so if you have a whole foods near you, and want one of these, I recommend calling them before going, because most stores only get 50, and are already sold out, I know, I apologize for the late notice, but I was able to snag one on Friday when they released, and wanted to share with you, just in case their are still some out there, and to let you know that it’s beauty week, so all the skincare, and beauty is 25% off right now, it’s an amazing deal, so be sure to stock up while it’s on sale, because you can save a ton of money! My favorite skincare brand ACURE is sold at whole foods, and I always have to stock up while they are on sale, because what is better then saving money on what you love, and will continue to use? Yeah for deals! So more details about the bag, every time in the past couple years, Whole Foods releases a beauty bag for the beginning to beauty week, to kick off the event, they are always amazing value, and yes, I didn’t even know they were releasing, and saw a post, and immediately called, and had them put one on hold for me, I got lucky, very lucky thankfully. I have gotten the some in the past (I try and get them all) but I missed the last one, so I was lucky to get one this time, and was super excited! The bag itself is SO cute, hand made, and much cuter in person, I really see myself using it! Olay Sponge Dual Sided Body Cleanser

Hello lovies! Happy Friday to all of you! I am really trying to get caught up on blogs, so that they are scheduled, and that equals way less stress for me, so it will be a good thing!! I like to do a few posts at a time while watching a movie, so that’s what I am doing right now!! It makes it much easier, and for some reason it helps my mind flow, making my writing better as well, which is definitely a plus! I hope you are all having a good end to your week, mine has been, as always a busy one that’s for sure! Time just continues to fly by! 

I was at my local Target, and saw a really cool display, it was light and everything! I will post some pictures, because wow, it was pretty amazing, and really attracted me, and made me want to try this product, funny as that sounds! They were really trying to push this product at Target, and at Walgreens I have seen recently as well. They have a really cool display, and pretty much screams buy me, give me a try!! Lol! Their marketing, and advertising is on point for these! These new products come in 3 different types/ scents which are Old Spice, Olay, & Ivory. I only purchased one though, the Olay, because it smelt amazing, and had to give that one a try! 

This is a brand new product from Proctor & Gamble, the company who owns Olay. It is so innovative, and a totally new concept in body cleansing. I thought it looked so easy, and convenient to use, so I knew I had to give it a try. Let me tell you, the display, and packaging is pretty cute as well. It’s so new, and hip, a totally new concept to a body sponge. It’s a sort of all in one, scrub, clean, smooth, and hang to dry, sounds easy right? The scent is very strong, if you are not into strong scents, you will not like this. As soon as you open the plastic packaging, the scent becomes a bit overpowering, but it dissipates when you first use it. It lathers, and scrubs very well, all while maintaining a fresh, clean, flowery scent. It cleanses really well, your entire body, and rinses clean as well, with no residue left on the skin. I love the hanger, it’s rubberized, and comes apart, it can practically hang on anything, or anywhere, making it really easy to use! I have used it 10 times/days so far, I hope it lasts, because it’s a pretty cool product! It is expected to last for 30 days, I haven’t seen if it does or not. I hope it does though! I enjoy using it. The price is a bit expensive though, at $9.99, I most likely won’t repurchase it unless it goes on sale, for 30 days, I feel it’s a bit overpriced. Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer & Blush Review & Swatches

Hello all my lovies!! How are you all doing today? I hope your having a wonderful start to your day, and are smiling!! Thank you so much for coming to the blog today to check out my review for the Physican’s Formula Butter Bronzer, and Blush! I was finally able to find these at my local Rite Aid store, they also have them at Ulta, Target, and other stores I have began seeing as well. The bronzer isn’t necessarily new, but the blush it, so I didn’t own either, so I figured I would just get both to review for you all. I also got them on sale for buy one, get one half off, so that was definitely a bonus, and reason to buy both, why not right? These drugstore products, like anything from the brand Physician’s Formula aren’t cheap, they retail for $14.99 for the bronzer, and $12.99 for the blush. The blush is a smaller size as well. They do go on sale, so just keep a look out for that! Let’s get right into my review! 

My Review: 

Alrighty, so you all know that I am not a huge fan of drugstore makeup, but I am trying more, and more trying to get a variety of products, and brands for review. So, I just wanted to start off by saying that, and be upfront, and honest on that. These are actually my first Physican’s Formula products ever, lol, I know, I know, that seems ridiculous, but it’s true. I am a high end makeup kinda girl, I can’t help it. So for blogging purposes, I am stepping out of my comfort zone. I feel like this brand is one of the better drugstore brands, and have high hopes! As I mentioned above these retail at $14.99, and $12.99. I feel like for those prices, they should be bigger pan sizes, but I think most of the cost went into the packaging. The packaging is cute, and practical with the included sponge, but it’s very bulky, and the sponge is useless really. I don’t know who uses those anyways! I do like the rainbow packaging, and the imprint on the pan, but the pigmentation is HORRIBLE!!! As you can see in the swatches, there is barely nothing visible, I even built those swatches up 3 times, adding more, and more product, but as you can see, there still wasn’t much color, or pigmentation. I am used to color, saturated color, high impact color, buildable color, but these were none of those unfortunately. I really had high hopes, but these are pretty bad, and don’t show up at all on my skin, even when I applied them to my cheeks, still nothing. What a bummer, because for the price, it should. The only positive thing that I can say about these are the formula. I think the formula is very buttery, and soft, and they do blend well, but the color pay off is terrible. Sorry to post negative things, but I am being honest. Thank you for reading, please let me know your thoughts, and if you have tried these. I don’t recommend these, and most likely will be returning them sadly 😦

HUGE Goodwill/ Thrift Shopping Haul!

Hello all the lovies, welcome to the blog today!! Boy do I have an awesome post for you all today!! Just like last month around this time, I have decided to share my awesome goodwill haul with you for the month of February. Also, again like last month (I will link it here) I have some amazing deals, and finds! Obviously I am a beauty blogger, so most all of this is beauty related! Sometimes when I find these deals, I can’t believe my eyes, I grab it so fast, because I know it’s a great deal! Part of the fun is the hunt, as I have said before, it’s like you are finding little treasures. I typically don’t find this much beauty/ skincare/ makeup items, but this month I scored for sure!! I was so excited for some of these finds! My favorites this month are marked below, but they include the Oh Joy pink swan, I can’t wait to hang it in my beauty room, the vintage drawer box, man this thing is so cool, it was covered in residue from cigarette smoke, I cleaned it up, and it’s perfect now, I don’t know how old it is, but it most definitely is beautiful, that will go in my beauty room as well, I couldn’t believe it was only $2.99, wow!! This was the only non Target donated item I found this month, everything else came from Target. Like I have said before, I am very thankful to have amazing goodwill’s in my city, I shop about 10 different locations on a regular basis, sometimes I find amazing stuff, sometimes I walk about with nothing. These hauls are an accumulation, but I go often, as I never know when they are going to have anything, or put it on the shelves! I also want to mention, I find, and purchase a lot more, that I don’t even show you 🙂 Sometimes, it’s to big of an item to take good photos of, or I want to use it right away, and I never show the clothes I get because it’s a pain to photograph, but I do share most of what I find as much as possible, because I think you all enjoy seeing! Thank you for the support, and if you think buying from Goodwill in any negative way, then please keep those comments to yourself, as I do not, and have been shopping, and saving thousands of dollars for years! And I would never buy “used” makeup, that’s just nasty in my opinion 🙂 These are my opinions, and I love shopping at goodwill, and am not afraid, or embarrassed what so ever, I highly recommend checking out your local goodwill, and thrift stores! Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in “Prismatic Amethyst”

 

Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, maybe you are new here, or a long time follower, regardless hello, and welcome, I hope you visit often, and enjoy my blog! Today I am posting a brand new product that has just came out, okay maybe it’s not even out yet, but it is to me so far (I am a VIB Rouge) at Sephora, so I was able to purchase it online, yeah!! Let me introduce to you the newest product from one of my favorite beauty brands Becca!! Becca as you may know has the best highlighters hands down in my opinion. I saw some sneak peek pictures of this on Trendmood1’s instagram, and omg did I get so excited? I am obsessed with anything purple, or pink, and holographic. I knew this would be mine, lol!! I couldn’t contain my excitement, as soon as I saw that it was available to purchase for me, I jumped on it!! I was literally living for this highlighter from Becca!! The highlighter is $38, and available at Sephora.

I just got it in the mail yesterday, opened my package, and it is absolutely gorgeous, for real gorgeous, almost to beautiful to touch, but I will for you guys maybe, lol! The packaging outer box is completely holographic, my eyes were instantly in love!! I opened the box, and found this beautiful, shiny silver, and light purple packaging, Becca’s packaging reminds me of space saucers, anyone else? 🙂 This is a pressed highlighter with the special edition packaging, much like the rose gold edition highlighter, and has the same diamond, criss cross pattern, on the powder itself, like an imprint, I wish they would have done something different though, just to switch it up a little, and make this one different, but that’s okay. What a beautiful, highly pigmented highlighter, I knew that it was perfect for me, and my skin tone, but I do have to be real here, did I really think I would use it? Would it just sit in my makeup collection? Well, the answers to those questions are I don’t know, but I hope I will use, and love it!! It’s so different, it totally reminds me of the new alchemist palette by Kat Von D, which I love, but don’t use much unfortunately. Hopefully on my feeling bold days, I will use them both! I am really glad that I purchased this, you can purchase it HERE @Sephora  as well, and as soon as it becomes available to everyone, and in stores, definitely recommend it. It is exactly like other pressed highlighters that I have tried, and own from Becca, very light in touch, and application, highly pigmented, buttery soft, and buildable. I love Becca powders, and products in general. They are always superb quality, and last a very long time! The colors are suitable for most skin tones as well. I recommend this one, if your looking for the colored highlighter look, it’s the perfect shade of purple, just for a pop of color on your cheek bones. I can’t wait to experiment with it more!! 🙂

Shopping Haul Amazing Deals at TJMaxx!

Hello, hello lovies, this blog post is for all my deal loving beauties! Oh my goodness I sure have snagged some amazing deals lately at TJMaxx, as some of you may have seen in my previous posts, the holiday months are the best times to buy beauty & makeup at discount stores, they get full stock of everything high end, it’s weird, it’s like they hold out all year, then go crazy, because they know people will buy higher priced beauty items for gifts. Well, let me tell you, this is when I spend like a mad woman, no joke, getting so many amazing deals, and stack up my beauty/makeup collection. This year was by far the best shopping deals, even in compared to last year! So as you can only imagine, after holidays, are just as awesome, because they put everything that didn’t sell on clearance! Yep, clearance, and they continue to mark down to get them sold, so now it’s February, so the clearance selection in stores are slowly selling, and dwindling, sad, I know. I keep looking, and searching for those deals on high end products, and feel like I have gotten some really great ones!! Definitely keep checking, because apparently, during the holidays they get trucks in for stock 7 days week, after the holidays they go back to normal schedule which is getting trucks in for stock 5 days a week. I never know when to go, or check, it’s all completely random, so who knows!! I am thankful for the awesome, amazing finds that I have found though, check them out below, please realize that this is just a haul blog post to show you what I have bought in the last month (yes I purchased them all at TJMaxx). I am constantly on the look out for great deals, p.s. I have a goodwill haul coming this week, so be sure to check back to check out what I have gotten, you will be amazed!! Love bargain hunting, and shopping, it’s all about the hunt, especially at these discount stores, like TJMaxx, Marshall’s, Ross, Home Goods, etc! Hello Lovies!!! Happy Friday, happy weekend! Yeah, today has been crazy busy with work, so I am just now writing, and getting this blog post up for the day! I am still playing catch up on blogs, so bare with me! I recently was in Target, and saw a huge end cap full of new e.l.f. makeup, and beauty products. Some of you may remember me receiving the e.l.f. voxbox from influenster (I will link it below, if you would like to check it out) I did a full review on a variety of new products that not only were new product from e.l.f., but some old ones as well. I was so impressed with the quality, and shades, that I decided I wanted to try some more products from the brand! I couldn’t resist the end cap I saw, it was beautifully displayed, and pretty much wanted it all, because it is all so affordable! I held back, and only picked up a few items that I have been dying to try from e.l.f. cosmetics! I love their prices the best, I really wanted to put a few of these products to the test, I don’t think all of them are necessarily new, but they were new to me, and products that were only offered online up until now, so yeah, for having them in store at Target!! So great, and easy for me to just grab! Like I said, a lot of these products up until now were only available on the e.l.f. website, and this just makes it so much easier, since I (we) can now just pick them up at Target!
