Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops rosé review, hello there lovies, let’s jump right into today’s blog post!! Let me tell you, it’s a pretty one, and the pigment is incredible as well, so so beautiful!! So, I am first going to say, that I got these at a discount, thankfully, I paid $14.99 for this, it is full size, and was brand new in the box! I found it at Marshall’s! I have found TONS of the Algenist line at Marshall’s, and TJmaxx in the last month or so, amazing deals, literally half the price of retail, I have picked up a few of the makeup products, this being one of them, and have really been loving them so far, so I thought I would do a review for this one, since it’s my favorite, and SO beautiful! My Marshall’s only had 1 of these, so I had to grab it! I was excited, because I have a sample size of this, and have tried it, and knew it was an awesome highlighter/ illuminizer! This comes in 3 different shades, the one that I was able to purchase is in the shade Rose, yes it’s gorgeous, and a must have in my opinion! It is so versatile, and is very light in formula, and I love putting just a little on the tops of my cheek bones, it gives the perfect amount of shine, and shimmer, but still remains light, not overpowering, without the chunky glitter look. Also, a little of this goes a long way, so this bottle will last for years I am sure! This is available at Sephora and retails for $38, but you can find them at TJMaxx, and Marshall’s right now, you just have to look! My Review:

First off, is this not the cutest packaging you have ever seen? I am so in love with this cuteness!! I love all of benefit cosmetics boxed powders, they are just the cutest! I am going to say something negative first though about the cute, and adorable packaging…… well, it isn’t durable at all, mine that I bought came with a partial tear in the lid, and that was really disappointing, the paper on this for the packaging doesn’t seem as thick, or as durable as the others in the past unfortunately. This blush retails for $29, which I think is a bit pricy for what it is, yes the pan size is large, but not for the actual amount you are paying in my opinion, the packaging is literally paper covered cardboard, and seems to be thrown together, not the usual quality that these typically are. Maybe I just got a poorly made one, but it was something I wanted to mention. The design of the gal on the front is super cute though, I love her glasses! Anyways, let’s talk about the actual product, the blush itself, it’s the cutest color, and shade of pink peach, the gold tones it down, while adding a gentle, and subtle glow, and shimmer. I always tend to be attracted to these types of blush shades, I like my blush to have a little bit of shimmer, without being over glittery, or to much of a shine, because let’s be real, this is a blush, not a highlighter. It really provides a beautiful coral, peach color to the cheeks. It truly is beautiful, and lasts all day without budging! I think this is a great addition to the benefit cosmetics boxed powder lineup, and a must have for a makeup collection! P.S. the brush it comes with is a cute wood handle small brush, that is good quality, but very difficult to hold, and use because of it’s size, but it is useable, and cute!

HIGH end beauty Las Vegas outlet shopping haul *Tom Ford, NARS, Burberry, Estee Edit*

Hello, hello lovies. Good day to all of you, okay, it’s night time when I am writing this post, but yes, it will be morning when this is posted 🙂 I hope your day is going wonderful so far, hopefully my day will be awesome as well. I mentioned in my last post yesterday that I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas, and had a great time, sunshine, pooltime, great food, and amazing shopping deals, are always so fun, right? My gosh, this was a great time this time, I really needed some sunshine, and pooltime to relax, but I got so damn sunburnt that I had to take a little break from the pools, and go shopping, my second favorite thing to do in Las Vegas besides the pool! Shopping is always so different in Las Vegas, because you just never know! I decided to try the North (in downtown Las Vegas) outlet mall this time, next time when I go in June, I want to go again to the North, but also want to see what is at the South, I also didn’t have time to do any other shopping this time, so gotta make more time for that next time as well! I am all about finding good deals!! I found some amazing deals on makeup this time, yeah!!! I couldn’t believe it, I was literally SO freaking excited when I saw there was a bare minerals store in the outlet, and a cosmetics company store as well, yeah!! I walked in to both of these stores, and almost cried lol, oh joys of a makeup lover lol! So anyways check out everything I got!! I will post the prices I paid as well just so you all know, what kind of amazing shopping deals you can get at these types of outlet stores in Las Vegas, so totally worth the trip, p.s. I took the bus from Bellagio, where I stayed to get there, it was definitely the way to save money, and travel while in Las Vegas, highly recommend it! Please let me know your favorite thing from my haul, I am curious to know, my favorite thing was both of the Tom Ford items, that bronzer/highlighter duo is LIFE, I saw it, and freaked out, so so beautiful my gosh yes!! These are my first 2 Tom Ford items in my collection, fyi, they are full of luxury, and elegance that’s for sure, simply stunning, and so is the price tag, lol, even at outlet prices!! I splurged, it’s always good to treat yourself every once in a while, why is makeup so beautiful, and pretty? LOL! Enjoy my haul! You can live through me, and my bad shopping habits! 🙂 Oh, and I do want to mention that Bare Minerals offers a free birthday gift (the full size eyeshadow) for your birthday, mine was April 14th, and I am a member because I am a Bare Minerals junkie, lol, so I got that for free! Also, the store was having an additional percent off because it was the weekend, so I really got great deals, I don’t know if they do this on non weekend’s though, so you may just get lucky like I did! The cosmetics company store was doing an additional 1/2 off everything in the store except Tom Ford, but that’s okay, they were still great prices!

Pixi by Petra Mist Collection Haul & Review #MultiMisting

Hi there lovies!! Happy Monday, I hope you are all doing well, and had a good weekend, and start to your week this week! I am super excited this week, because I took a little break, not sure how time flew by so fast, but it did, it really wasn’t a planned break, but I guess it happened! I had a great trip to Las Vegas, and it was amazing as usual, I am also going back in less then a month, yeah again! Life just gets busy sometimes, but need to be better about making blogging a priority! Anyways, today’s blog is a good one!! I am reviewing the Pixi by Petra Mists, Pixi by Petra was kind enough to send these beauties to me in PR to try out, and I am obsessed with everything Pixi, so I was excited to get to try out all the different formula mists, and for different uses! Gosh, I love these all, but I am going to focus my review on the Pixi by Petra makeup fixing mist, otherwise it would take me forever to review them all, lol! So let’s jump right into the review, I hope you all enjoy! 

Okay, let me just say that I have never tried a Pixi by Petra product that I didn’t love, this brand is what I call a high end drugstore brand. Yes it is a drugstore brand technically, but it is of higher quality, and are amazing products! This is available at Target, and Target.com, and on the Pixi by Petra website for $15, which isn’t super cheap, but I feel like for the price, you are getting a good amount of product! These are 2.70 ounces, which will last for a while, which is awesome! I also really love, and enjoy the way it pumps, and sprays. The mist is literally a mist, it is gentle, yet, sprays the right amount of mist to work! It makes my skin feel refreshed, and is gentle enough to use daily to set your makeup. It doesn’t spray out in heavy droplets, and won’t leave spots on your face, or ruin your makeup thankfully. This is a great way to set any beautiful makeup look, or just to use without makeup, if you need a refreshing, or if it’s a hot, and sweaty day. All of the Pixi by Petra sprays are for multiple uses, and can provide a variety of uses, to suit your needs. I definitely recommend trying any of these mists out, but especially the makeup fixing mist, as I really enjoyed the way that it worked, and fyi, I have acne prone, oily skin, so I do tend to get oily through out the day, and need my makeup to be refreshed, so it’s not cakey, and oily looking, this is the perfect spray for that, and is perfect for on the go! I am here to bring you a really fun blog post today! Okay, let me admit something here first, I did purchase these off of amazon, NO not these from unicorn lashes, the very cheap, generic version, I bought the entire set for $18, I received them in the mail, and immediately knew I would be sending them back, they smelt horrible, like paint, glue, and were nothing like the real, authentic brushes from unicorn lashes, not even close!!!! So back they went, and the next day I was lucky enough to swap/ purchase these, so I was super excited, and happy! I am, and was since I was a kid obsessed with anything unicorns, lately as an adult, not as much except for the last year, I am in love with anything translucent, unicorns, etc. and fell in love with these brushes the moment I saw them, so felt okay with spending the money, and getting them for myself because I knew I would love, and cherish them, and let me tell you, I am so happy with my swap/ purchase, I am literally in love with these brushes!! They are such high quality (like my MAC brushes) they are amazing, and finely made, the “horns” handles of the brushes are beautiful, it’s like your looking at an opal when you look at them, and the brush bristles, OMG can we take a moment? They are pure heaven, so rainbow, I don’t know how they did it, but they did, and I am SO glad I was able to get them!! The case that these come in just may be my favorite as well, not only is it beautiful, and so pretty, but very functional, because it stores each individual brush perfectly, so they are evenly spaced, and separated. Shopping Haul Amazing Deals at TJMaxx!

Hello, hello lovies, this blog post is for all my deal loving beauties! Oh my goodness I sure have snagged some amazing deals lately at TJMaxx, as some of you may have seen in my previous posts, the holiday months are the best times to buy beauty & makeup at discount stores, they get full stock of everything high end, it’s weird, it’s like they hold out all year, then go crazy, because they know people will buy higher priced beauty items for gifts. Well, let me tell you, this is when I spend like a mad woman, no joke, getting so many amazing deals, and stack up my beauty/makeup collection. This year was by far the best shopping deals, even in compared to last year! So as you can only imagine, after holidays, are just as awesome, because they put everything that didn’t sell on clearance! Yep, clearance, and they continue to mark down to get them sold, so now it’s February, so the clearance selection in stores are slowly selling, and dwindling, sad, I know. I keep looking, and searching for those deals on high end products, and feel like I have gotten some really great ones!! Definitely keep checking, because apparently, during the holidays they get trucks in for stock 7 days week, after the holidays they go back to normal schedule which is getting trucks in for stock 5 days a week. I never know when to go, or check, it’s all completely random, so who knows!! I am thankful for the awesome, amazing finds that I have found though, check them out below, please realize that this is just a haul blog post to show you what I have bought in the last month (yes I purchased them all at TJMaxx). Well, let’s talk pricing first, what do you all think? Do you think Lorac pricing is okay? Too much? I think it is just right! You are paying for quality, and that says a lot!! I believe these are exclusive to Ulta and Khols, and possibly the Lorac website!! Get them while you can because they are selling out fast, I had to order some online because my store (Khols) wasn’t getting any in stock, frustrating my so glad I got them, they are seriously beautiful!! I can’t even deal with the cute packaging, so cute! I knew I had to have the whole collection, these were made for ME! Lol hehe! The packaging is the typical Lorac packaging, sturdy cardboard, with a high quality mirror inside the palette, the designs are imprinted, and raised which adds a fun spark to the palettes!! The packaging has butterflies, cats, gemstones, snowflakes, and just pretty objects, like I said very hip, boho, hipster, modern, spritual, and unique, I am really digging it, perfect for me! The colors in both the eyeshadow, and blush palettes are both very buttery, pigmented, bendable, soft, but I do want to mention they are a bit powdery, kind of typical of Lorac pressed powders though. They are quite crumbly, which is wasteful in my opinion, they do blend nicely, but I am not sure this formula is the same as the Mega Pro formula, maybe it’s just the way I swatched, with them, not sure. Regardless they are still very good quality with a wide variety of colors, mattes, and shimmers, all very beautiful! Okay the lipsticks, OMG my goodness, these are literally the best liquid lipsticks I have EVER tried, no joke, see the pictures for lasting ability, the last photo is after I scrubbed with soap, water, and a paper towel, they are fully waterproof, and do last, and stain your lips, so be aware, they do try perfectly matte, I tried to get pictures of first application, and dried, then wet again, hoping to help show wearing power. I highly recommend these, they smell like vanilla cupcakes, and apply very opaque, and no re dipping the wand into the tube, a little goes a long way! This set of 4 is a great deal because just one I think is around $18 each! Definitely get this collection if it’s something you love, like I do, it will look flattering, and beautiful on many skin tones, I am in love!! What do you think about this collection?

Hello lovies!! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I can’t believe it’s already Valentine’s Day! MEHHHH, I’m single so I don’t really care about V-day anyways, but I still have a lot to love, and be happy about 🙂 just kind of a Debbie Downer on this day, lol, sorry. I did buy myself flowers, makeup, and a tart, I mean duh, it was a must!! I hope you are all enjoying today. I wanted to do a beautiful V-day inspired post, but ran out of time, so I did this for today, because it needed to get posted 🙂 I hope you enjoy today’s post on the PUR cosmetics Dreamworks Trolls eyeshadow palette!!

I think the palette is so cute! I recently saw the trolls movie, about a month ago, and am obsessed with trolls (since I was young) because they are just so sweet, and so fun, that troll hair though, right? I feel like that hair describes mine in the morning perfectly lol! I really enjoyed the movie, and love Justin Timberlake, who doesn’t right? Ya with me on that? 🙂 Anyways, I actually watched it while in Las Vegas for work, with my favorite littles, so it was super fun! I love all the songs in the movie! And let’s talk about all the bright colors, such pretty colors!! So fun, so cute, I definitely recommend it if you enjoy trolls, and happy movies! 

My Review:

Okay, let’s jump right into the review! This palette is by PUR cosmetics, yes a decent, affordable brand, but still not very well heard of or known. This, and the lip gloss set were actually my first ever purchases from the brand, so I was very curious, yet unsure due to prices. I knew this was releasing (the palette) and had seen sneak peeks of the colors, and design on instagram. I knew that I had to have it, the colors just spoke to me, I love the pop of fun! I don’t have many bright, fun, pigmented palettes like this one, so it will take some time figuring out how to use it, but I still love it! And guess what? The price is $29, wait what?? Yep, for a 16 pan eyeshadow palette! Fantastic!! There are a couple of pops of color but mostly neutrals, nothing that’s to crazy, or wild. I think, and consider this palette very wearable. The color payoff is alright, the swatch pigmented, and buttery, but not as good as what I am used to by other high end branded eyeshadows. The formula is nice, easily blendable, and not chalky, or to powdery, but they could blend better, especially the really bright shades in the palette, they were a little tough to blend out, not terrible, just not great. For the price, I really think it’s a good deal, great color payoff, and shade selection, and for 16 different shadows, I think it’s worth a try. I do want to mention that this PUR cosmetics Trolls palette is hard to find. It is sold out in a lot of stores (Khols) and sold out online on the PUR cosmetics website, it’s a popular one! Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer Review

Hello, hello lovies! Happy hump day to all of you, thank you for coming to the blog today, and joining me! Today’s blog post is a highly requested review, and a crazy popular item as well. It is the Tarte Cosmetics shape tape concealer!! Check out my review! It was near impossible to find my shade, ha, no not really I just happened to find it in store, they had it in the back luckily in my shade, I was thankful for that! The color I am reviewing is light neutral (which I am guessing is a popular one) as I think it will suite a lot of skin tones, and colors. I was so excited that my local Ulta had it in stock, I jumped right on it, that’s for sure!! P.S. while I was in line purchasing this, there was another woman beside me purchasing it as well! See? I told you crazy popular!! So I bet you are wondering what the hype is? Or why is it so good? Well, let’s jump right into my review!! I am writing this late at night, and need to get to bed, so I won’t have to use a crazy amount of this stuff under my eyes in the morning, lol!!

My review:

Let me just start off by saying that, I have been searching for a new concelor and I love this one! Great coverage and it’s so easy to blend in!! I really couldn’t believe it!! So easy to use, blends in like magic, I use a damp beauty blender, and you only need a very small amount. The applicator wand makes it so easy to apply, I just lightly pull out the wand, and it’s ready to use for all areas of my face. I don’t have to re dip, which is not only hygienic, but keeps it clean! As many of you know, I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation, and severe acne scars all over my face, and this stuff just covers it up so effortlessly, well mostly, my scars are very deep, and red, so nothing really conceals them perfectly unfortunately, so I take what I can get as far as coverage goes. It brightens my under eye area, and sets very fast, but doesn’t cling to my fine lines, scars, or wrinkles at all. There is a light fresh scent that doesn’t last once applied. It is easy to blend with a blush, finger or beauty blender. The key is making sure you find the right color match for your skin. The product dries, and sets very quickly, so you must blend fast! It lasts all day and you don’t even have to use much because a little goes a long way, like I said before. I Will definitely be buying more in the future, a repurchase must have for me for sure! I definitely think it’s worth the hype!

How to use:

This creamy concealer is ideal for applying with the quickie blending sponge (sold separately.)
To Cover & Perfect

1. Dot concealer directly over blemishes, dark circles or other imperfections and use the narrow, tapered side of the sponge to dab and blend.

2. To cover redness or uneven skin tone, apply concealer directly onto skin and blend using the larger, domed end of the sponge.

3. To offset the look of dark circles, trace concealer onto undereye area in a “triangle of light formation” and blend using the narrow side of the sponge.

To Contour & Highlight

1. Trace concealer in light, thin lines directly onto areas you want to highlight and contour, such as the cheekbones, forehead, chin and nose.

2. Use the narrow, pointed side of sponge to blend formula into skin in the direction of the lines you traced. The larger, domed side can be used to soften any harsh lines.

3. Wear concealer 1-2 shades darker for creamy contouring and 1-2 shade lighter as a luminous highlighter.

Mac Cosmetics Mariah Carey Collection Haul

Hello lovies!! Merry Christmas!! I hope your all having a wonderful Christmas so far, and santa treated you all well!! I wanted to save this special post for Christmas, to finish up my goal of posting 5 days a week until Christmas! So, here it is at 11 pm Christmas Eve, and I am sitting in bed with my kitty Pumpkin literally sitting right by me, and the computer (I will insert a pic, so cute) I am determined to meet my goal! Yeah, I can’t believe that I have done it, I am so proud of myself, even if I was late to dinner tonight because I couldn’t get these pictures right, these beauties are so damn reflective, it was doing all kinds of crazy things to my lighting, so sorry if the pictures aren’t the best, it was so difficult, I tried, I really did. 

Let me introduce, okay it needs no introduction, to the beautiful Mariah Carey collection from Mac Cosmetics. I literally was dying when I first saw pictures of this collection, not only am I a huge Mariah Carey fan, always have been, but I am also a total Mac junkie, I have been since high school, one of these days, I will share my mac collection with you all. Mac has been one of my all time favorite brands for over 20 years, and they still amaze me, especially with all of their new collections lately. They have been so impressive, and am so in love I tell ya, still all these years later! Anyways, sorry I got distracted lol, I lost my train of thought, it’s late, okay, so yes I love mac! Everything is always high quality, highly pigmented, and absolutely beautiful. I first saw this collection months ago, and waited so patiently for it to release. This collection had my name all over it!! I was dying, literally dying for this lipstick, I mean come on, it has a butterfly stamped on it!! OMG!! Oh, and the gold, and sparkles, can it get any prettier, and girly? My gosh!! I knew that I wanted a lot from the collection, okay, maybe not as much as I ended up purchasing, but I had to go a little overboard because this collection was selling out SO fast. They are doing restocks though periodically, so you just have to keep checking, I ordered some from Nordstrom, and some from Macy’s, but it’s also available at Mac stores, and online. I just happened to get lucky and order everything I wanted before the restock, and before some products were selling out. I wish I was lucky enough to get the pr package that mac sent out, OMG I would have literally died, maybe someday, I will be lucky enough to be on Mac cosmetics pr list, we can all dream right? 🙂 I hope you enjoy this post, and have a wonderful Christmas.
