Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops Review in the color **rosé**

Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops rosé review, hello there lovies, let’s jump right into today’s blog post!! Let me tell you, it’s a pretty one, and the pigment is incredible as well, so so beautiful!! So, I am first going to say, that I got these at a discount, thankfully, I paid $14.99 for this, it is full size, and was brand new in the box! I found it at Marshall’s! I have found TONS of the Algenist line at Marshall’s, and TJmaxx in the last month or so, amazing deals, literally half the price of retail, I have picked up a few of the makeup products, this being one of them, and have really been loving them so far, so I thought I would do a review for this one, since it’s my favorite, and SO beautiful! My Marshall’s only had 1 of these, so I had to grab it! I was excited, because I have a sample size of this, and have tried it, and knew it was an awesome highlighter/ illuminizer! This comes in 3 different shades, the one that I was able to purchase is in the shade Rose, yes it’s gorgeous, and a must have in my opinion! It is so versatile, and is very light in formula, and I love putting just a little on the tops of my cheek bones, it gives the perfect amount of shine, and shimmer, but still remains light, not overpowering, without the chunky glitter look. Also, a little of this goes a long way, so this bottle will last for years I am sure! This is available at Sephora and retails for $38, but you can find them at TJMaxx, and Marshall’s right now, you just have to look! This is actually healthy, and good for your skin, check out the chart below! Buy it at here

Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today! I bet you clicked on this post because you have seen pictures or spoilers of this new collection by Estee Lauder! This is the new Bronze Goddess collection for 2017!! Again, I had seen pictures on trendmood1 on instagram, and knew that this had to  be in my makeup collection. My gosh it is stunning, such a beautiful work of art!! This is a highlighter, and omg gorgeous! It literally is so shiny, it’s almost like pure gold! I was very lucky in that, I just happened to be at Nordstrom, and asked them if they had any in stock, and she said she was almost sold out, so she grabbed one for me. I was so excited that I actually had one in my hand! I then went over and immediately swatched the one they had on display! I literally barely touched it, and it was like I was touching gold, liquid gold, liquid pigment, liquid butter!! This highlighter is in the gelee formula, which means it is very soft, almost gel like in texture, hint the name gelee lol! It is so luminous, and sparkly, I really couldn’t believe it! A highlighter doesn’t get much better then this, I said to myself! Wow, I was amazed!! Okay, so I do have to admit something, this is my first actual beauty/ makeup product from Estee Lauder, I do have a few products from the Estee Lauder, Estee Edit collection though, and love them! I will link the review of the Estee Edit Palettes down below, the formula on those were amazing as well, definitely a must have. I think Estee Lauder as a brand is really trying to push new, innovative products into the beauty world, aiming at the younger crowd, which I think is pretty great! No, I unfortunately do not consider myself the younger crowd, as I am 35, but the shade selection, advertising, etc, of Estee Lauder are really focusing on that right now in my opinion, to get more types, and ages of women (and men) to use their products! I was excited to have this in my hands! Such a hot item, I got lucky! These are selling out SO fast, so if you want one, you have to be very quick!! They are coming in stores soon like Nordstrom, and Macy’s, etc. so get it while you can before it sells out! It is absolutely stunning, and the outer packaging is to die for beautiful as well!! Such high quality, and attention to detail they put into this highlighter, or gold, as I like to call it!! I do want to mention that this is the number 2 to the original bronze goddess heat wave highlighter, I do not own the first one, but from pictures, and swatches that I have seen, they are similar, but the number 1 original was more matte, as in not as shimmery, or sparkly. It was gold, just less shimmer. This one however, is VERY gold, and over the top sparkly, and shimmery, much like how I picture a gold bar! Sorry, I can’t compare the 2, but I sure would like to own the number 1 original one as well. Enjoy the beautiful pictures, and swatches!

Thanks for reading, and checking out the blog today, are you looking to purchase this? Is it something that your interested in? Will you be purchasing it? I highly recommend it! Estee Lauder nailed it with this beauty!! My goodness, yes!!

Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, maybe you are new here, or a long time follower, regardless hello, and welcome, I hope you visit often, and enjoy my blog! Today I am posting a brand new product that has just came out, okay maybe it’s not even out yet, but it is to me so far (I am a VIB Rouge) at Sephora, so I was able to purchase it online, yeah!! Let me introduce to you the newest product from one of my favorite beauty brands Becca!! Becca as you may know has the best highlighters hands down in my opinion. I saw some sneak peek pictures of this on Trendmood1’s instagram, and omg did I get so excited? I am obsessed with anything purple, or pink, and holographic. I knew this would be mine, lol!! I couldn’t contain my excitement, as soon as I saw that it was available to purchase for me, I jumped on it!! I was literally living for this highlighter from Becca!! The highlighter is $38, and available at Sephora.

I just got it in the mail yesterday, opened my package, and it is absolutely gorgeous, for real gorgeous, almost to beautiful to touch, but I will for you guys maybe, lol! The packaging outer box is completely holographic, my eyes were instantly in love!! I opened the box, and found this beautiful, shiny silver, and light purple packaging, Becca’s packaging reminds me of space saucers, anyone else? 🙂 This is a pressed highlighter with the special edition packaging, much like the rose gold edition highlighter, and has the same diamond, criss cross pattern, on the powder itself, like an imprint, I wish they would have done something different though, just to switch it up a little, and make this one different, but that’s okay. What a beautiful, highly pigmented highlighter, I knew that it was perfect for me, and my skin tone, but I do have to be real here, did I really think I would use it? Would it just sit in my makeup collection? Well, the answers to those questions are I don’t know, but I hope I will use, and love it!! It’s so different, it totally reminds me of the new alchemist palette by Kat Von D, which I love, but don’t use much unfortunately. Hopefully on my feeling bold days, I will use them both! I am really glad that I purchased this, you can purchase it HERE @Sephora  as well, and as soon as it becomes available to everyone, and in stores, definitely recommend it. It is exactly like other pressed highlighters that I have tried, and own from Becca, very light in touch, and application, highly pigmented, buttery soft, and buildable. I love Becca powders, and products in general. They are always superb quality, and last a very long time! The colors are suitable for most skin tones as well. I recommend this one, if your looking for the colored highlighter look, it’s the perfect shade of purple, just for a pop of color on your cheek bones. I can’t wait to experiment with it more!! 🙂

What it is:
A creamy, highlighting powder with duo-chrome pigments to impart a captivating light effect that transforms as you move.

What it does:
Achieve a sophisticated, prismatic glow in any light with this limited-edition Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter. It’s enriched with color-shifting pigments that reflect and refract light for a multi-faceted, holographic chameleon effect. Prismatic Amethyst is infused with pale gold, violet, and rose pearls to create a unique, iridescent sheen that shifts as you move.

Unlike traditional pressed powders, this one-of-a-kind formula blends pigments with liquids, to create an unparalleled, creamy feel that applies like seamless silk and never cakes. It’s perfect for highlighting or layering to create a truly unique glow. The result is a high-shine, elegant shimmer finish that doesn’t look glittery.

The Estée Edit Gritty & Glow Magnetic Eye and Face Palettes Review & Swatches

Screen Shot 2017-01-28 at 10.59.25 PM.png

Hi there lovies, welcome to the blog today, I hope you are all having a fantastic end to your weekend, by enjoying the day, lately I feel like my days literally fly by, there is never enough time that’s one thing I know for sure, but that’s okay, I do enjoy my days off to get things accomplished! I also love blogging, and prepping for the posts, I am sitting here watching a black mirror episode, I have been so into netflix series lately I tell ya, they are just so good, definitely recommend! Anyways, I hope you are all doing well, let’s get to today’s post.

This post is a full review on the Estee Edit gritty and glow eye and face palettes, found exclusively at Sephora. Yes, I am aware that I am late to the ball on this, and I apologize, but until I swatched it for myself I really didn’t believe how amazing it was, with this, you really have to feel, and play with it for yourself. I knew these palettes were amazing, as I had watched several reviews from people, and have seen some amazing pictures as well. These colors remind me so much of the Victoria Beckhamm collection from Estee Lauder, literally these are total dupes! You also get WAY more product for your money, definitely a better value, the pan sizes are huge, definitely was shocked at how big they were! Anyways, I haven’t really tried much from the Estee Lauder, or the new Estee Edit collections, so I really was new to the brand, and how they performed. So this review really is an unbiased opinion. Well, it’s safe to say, that I am in LOVE, no joke, take a look at these beautiful palettes, the pigmentation is so buttery, and strong, I barely touched the colors for the swatches, and I couldn’t even wash them off afterwards with scrubbing with a sponge, and soap, and water, simply unbelievable. I definitely recommend picking up this palette, okay palettes, you will not be disappointed, they are currently in stock! If you like matte colors, this palette won’t be for you, as they are mostly all shimmery shades, and full of pigment, you can create so many looks with these on not only your eyes, but your cheeks, and face as well. It’s an all in one palette, and the uses are interchangeable, and so very versatile, that’s really what I love most about about these palettes!

What it is:
A limited-edition set of two magnetic palettes with 12 ultra-soft, highly pearlized shades.

What it does:
Get edgy, gorgeous makeup looks with the Gritty & Glow Magnetic Eye and Face Palettes. These two palettes feature six shades each that are formulated with tiny pearl particles for the most elegant, glistening sheen. These silky-soft, creamy formulas are designed to be super blendable for easy application. The two mirrored compacts are also magnetic so they can be clicked together for easy portability.

Create high-impact eyes with the Gritty Eye Palette, featuring six highly-pigmented pearlized shadows for intense depth and the ultimate smoky eye. These shades range from Swerve (a golden copper for a burnished metallic effect) to Mood (a midnight black with subtle multi-sparkle pearls for starry, smoldering eyes), to Riff (a champagne rose gold for a soft, shimmering wash of color). Just layer and blend to create your own audacious eye look.

Get glowing with the Glow Face + Eye Palette, featuring six universally flattering highlighter shades for cheeks and eyes. These ultra-pearlized colors are flattering on all skintones with shades in platinum gold, rose quartz, and sunset bronze. Use the lighter shades to highlight your favorite glow zones, including the cheekbones, Cupid’s bow, browbone, or the inner corners of your eyes. Use the deeper shades to bring additional dimension to eyes or shading to the cheeks. Then mix and match to customize your own glow.

This palette contains:
– 6 x Pearlized shades in:

Swerve (golden copper)

Riff (champagne rose gold)

Burn (burgundy bronze)

Wavy (dark emerald)

Mood (midnight black with multi-sparkle)

Trip (deep iridescent blue)

– 6 x Glow Face + Eye Palette in:

Snowlit (platinum)

14K Glow (champagne)

1st Light (soft pink)

Kiko Milano Makeup/ Beauty Haul Review

Screen Shot 2017-01-23 at 8.13.15 PM.png

Hello, hello lovies!! I am so glad that everyone is has enjoyed yesterday’s post about my goodwill shopping haul! I wasn’t sure if it would be a hit or a dud, and I am happy to report it’s been a hit, and you all are loving it, so thank you so much! I never know when I introduce a new series on the blog if it will be loved, or hated. I love doing it, and it’s so fun for me, so I am happy to post my finds, and share it with you all! I hope you are all having a fantastic start to your week, and hey, maybe even that post gave you inspiration to do some thrift/ goodwill shopping of your own! You really never know what you will find, that’s part of the fun! If you find goodies, please go back to the post and comment, I would love to hear!

You are most likely here because you saw the title of this blog, and maybe you were wondering about it, I felt the same way when I was visiting Las Vegas, and was walking in the fashion show mall, and stopped in my tracks when I saw this store full of makeup! I also knew I have seen their products, and have heard great things about them, just there was never a store close by me at all, so of course I had to go in, and shop for some makeup!! Let me tell you, the first table I came across was full, I mean full of sale items from their recently released holiday collection. I seriously couldn’t contain my excitement, it’s like a kid in a candy store, but a woman in a makeup store, lol! So excited I was, especially that the entire collection was in stock, and everything was 50% off, wait what? Yep, 50% off at least!! I died right there on the spot, lol kidding, but really you can imagine my excitement, and joy! So I obviously started swatching, and was amazed at the pigmentation, and quality of the products. Who knew how great these were? I sure didn’t, but I was so glad that I stumbled across the kiko milano store my gosh, yes!! I pretty much wanted it all, ha ha!

Let’s check out what I got in beautiful Las Vegas! First though, this brand is extremely popular on instagram, but isn’t very well known, or highly talked about in the US. It is an italian professional cosmetics brand that started in 1997, and they sell, and have stores in many countries, and most recently the US. Yeah for being a worldwide cosmetics brand, and company! The packaging is such high quality, it’s almost to good to be true, I really mean that, I was amazed, it’s heavy, durable, and beautiful, it truly feels luxurious, and very high end. I knew that I had to splurge because the holiday collection was simply beautiful, it drew me right in, and it was on sale, I couldn’t resist! The makeup junkie in me was happily smiling! I’m excited to share with you what I got, let’s check out my kiko milano makeup haul!

My favorite thing from this haul is the eyeshadow palette, the pigmentation is excellent, the formula is silky smooth, and blends out with perfection. This palette offers the perfect color range, and the pan sizes are large, and will last a long time. I created several looks using only this palette, the shadows are so buttery, and last all day on my oily lids. The entire holiday collection is stunning, I am so glad that I was able to get it, and can’t wait to use it more, and you better believe it next time I am in Las Vegas I will be stopping in to buy more to add to my collection! I highly recommend checking this brand out, you will not be disappointed!!!

Becca “Blushed with Light” Blush Palette Review

Screen Shot 2016-12-02 at 10.33.04 PM.png

Hello, hello lovies!! I hope you are all having a great start to your day! I really wanted to get this review up as soon as possible because I know it is currently sold out, and is becoming difficult to get your hands on. I follow trendmood1 on instagram, and I saw that this pretty little baby was on sale at Ulta, and Sephora for $17 I freaked out, and jumped on it faster then fast, and bought one at Sephora. I was one of the lucky ones, I had no idea that this would sell out so fast, wow, I was shocked! I have the rest of this collection, well everything from the Jacklyn Hill collection from Becca, and absolutely love everything!! Becca is hands down one of my favorite high end beauty brands, it has been for a while now, the pigmentation is always superb, and of the highest standards. When I watched these, and applied them to my cheeks, they were so buttery, and soft, and very pigmented. They glide on, and you don’t need very much product at all on your brush. This palette has 3 beautiful colors, my favorite is the middle color in the palette, the color songbird, okay, yes it’s a beautiful name, but also a beautiful color, perfect for any skin tone I think! The entire palette will look flattering on any skin tone! Let’s just say this pretty trio will leave you looking glowy, and beautiful all year round! Let’s hope that Becca releasing more holiday collection products soon, because anything Becca is a must have, let’s be real! I really hope that this comes back in stock as well, sorry if it’s not 😦

This palette includes 3 BECCA blushes! Introducing NEW never before seen Mineral Blush shade in Wisteria, cult favorite Mineral Blush in Songbird, and best selling Luminous Blush in Snapdragon!

Lorac Grand Gala Holiday Highlighter/ Blush Review

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 8.16.25 PM.png

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 8.11.11 PM.png

Hello, hello again lovies! How are you all doing on this lovely day? I hope all is well with you all. I am having a blog a thon today, and getting most of my blogs done for the week, so that I can just keep going meeting my goals, yeah! I am also all cozy in pajamas, and slippers watching a scary movie, and taking blog photos, trying to stay warm!

I went on a bit of a shopping spree lately, and was able to pick up a bunch of items from the new holiday collection from lorac, yeah for shopping, and finding what I was wanting to get! The first thing I picked up from the collection, wasn’t officially part of the holiday collection, but I think it may have, it was the lorac mega pro eyeshadow palette, I had to have it added to my collection of the pro palettes, the palettes are always the best quality, and that one is absolutely beautiful , even if the packaging gets super dirty. Lorac released more to the collection, and officially called it the Rose & Rivalry collection. The rose gold packaging truly called to me, anything rose gold does, I can’t help it, lol! I knew that some of the collection was going to be exclusive to Ulta, and some exclusive to Khol’s. I stopped in my local khol’s and what’s even better is that I had a gift card, yipee, anyways, I was able to get the happy hour alter ego lip gloss set, which I will also be reviewing soon, and the grand gala light source highlighter and color source blush duo. I thought for $28 for two full size products by lorac was a total bargain! These two colors, and shades are exclusive to this collection, and limited edition. I had seen swatches online, and they looked beautiful, perfect for me colors, for my light to medium skin. I do want to mention that there are two highlight/ blush duos that come in this collection. I think they are both pretty, but I definitely like the one that I purchased the best, and this is the one that is the limited edition shades. Anyways so I ended up getting the one in spotlight, and aura. These are stunning, and very easy to apply, they are very buttery, and soft, yet highly pigmented, so you only need a little on your brush, a little goes a long way. The pan size is also full size, and big, like I said, it’s a great value for the money. These are a bit hard to find in stock at the store, so I suggest purchasing online at kohl’s. I am so glad that I got pieces to this collection, and definitely recommend! Let me know in the comments if you plan on getting anything from this collection, or if you have, let me know your opinion!

Get the best of both a highlighter, and blush with this Grand Gala duo from LORAC.
