Urban Decay Vice Special Effects Long-Lasting Water- Resistant Lip Topcoat “White Lie” Review

Hello lovies! Happy Saturday, I have been wanting to switch up my posting days, since I don’t really have a strict schedule, I would love to know your thoughts on this, and what you think, I won’t be changing the time that I post them, because I feel like 8 AM PST is a good time for everyone, but who knows, please let me know what you all think, I would appreciate some constructive feedback. Thank you! Okay, let’s get right to the blog post today. As you can already guess, this has been sitting on my “to do” list for a while now. I actually bought it right when it launched. I was super excited about it, because as a lot of you know, I am seriously obsessed with anything translucent, iridescent, shiny, opal like, oh you know, all the pretty things, lol! I thought this was such a cool product, new, innovative, and I had to have it! I at least had to have 1 of the 12 shades, and this shade was the only one that I wanted, funny, I would like a few more, but I knew this one was for me. It is absolutely beautiful!! I mean, just for the glitter alone, the colors, and the effect that it provides is so worth it! The lip topcoats retail for $18, and are available where Urban Decay is sold. I purchased mine at Macy’s! I think the retail price is pretty reasonable for the amount of product you get. I feel like because this is a top coat, that it will last for a long time, because with this product, you don’t need much, and a little goes a long way! By applying this top coat, it completely transforms any lip color, or lipstick, and makes it look totally different, I really think it’s such a fun, and innovative new product! I have seen topcoats before, but this is definitely more glittery, and really changes the look! This is perfect for a night out, from going from a day to night look, and just so fun! IT is shade shifting, and gives a duo chrome effect on the lips, without being over drying, it dries down, and melts perfectly into the lip color that it coats. I do have a complaint though, I don’t like the applicator brush, it makes the product clump together, and get chunky, which does goes away once it is applied to the lips, but it could’ve been more thought out, and designed better, I do however love the packaging, and the product is great, I know other’s haven’t enjoyed it, but I do like it, and think it does exactly what it was intended to do, which is transform your lips, and give a completely different look to them, while maintaining moisture, and smoothness. I think you should give it a try, I think you will love it as much as I do! I always love Urban Decay products, and some of them are my absolute favorite!! Thank you for reading!

Burt’s Bees Flavor Crystal Lip Balm Review

Hello lovies, welcome to the blog today!! Yeah for Friday, Happy Friday ya’ll!! This has been a crazy week, with not much sleep, damn insomnia has kicked in overdrive this week, I am barely functioning at work right now 😦 Anyways, I am glad it’s the weekend, but it will be busy as well, so I wanted to make sure that I get some blogs wrote, and accomplished! I am definitely trying hard to post 3-4 times per week, so far, so good! Wish me luck!! I am making it a priority now, since I am getting such wonderful responses from all of you, it seems like you are all enjoying it! I have a fun little blog post for you all today, I wanted to purchase this new lip balm from Burt’s Bees ever since it launched, and it’s been a challenge thus far finding it, but I saw a super cute display, and wanted to get all 3, but I controlled myself, lol!

I am a huge Burt’s Bees fan, have been for years now, LOVE their lip balms, I have so many, I think I have every flavor, no joke, who’s with me on that? I am obsessed, so when a new product comes out, I am so interested in trying it! I am so glad I came across the display, and man is it cute or what? I stopped in to my local Rite Aid, and found them, yeah! I was pretty excited. They come in 3 different flavors, Red Raspberry, Tropical Pineapple, and Sweet Orange, they all sound yummy, and smell amazing! I may end up getting all of them, we will see, I didn’t love the formula though, so I’m not sure if I will. Have you tried it yet? What do you think? 

My Review:

Okay, let’s jump right into my review, the price of these are $3.99 each, which I think is fair for a lip balm at the drugstore. Let’s talk about the super cute packaging!! I think it’s great, and they nailed it aiming for the younger, or older crowds alike! I love the bright colors, and the theme! I noticed at first application of this lip balm (I got the Red Raspberry flavor) that it wasn’t like their normal formula, I was expecting burst of flavor from the crystals, I didn’t get that all, I think that’s all marketing, crazy as that sounds. I also had to use a lot of product, yes my lips were dry, but I had to go over my lips like 5 times!! That’s a lot for a lip balm, it just didn’t glide on well at all, the flavor, and scent was nice, I could lick it, but that’s not really the purpose of a lip balm. I found the formula to be a little drying actually, and didn’t last on my lips at all sadly. I don’t think I will be purchasing anymore, but will remain a fan of Burt’s Bees for sure!!

The value of this set is $122, if you were to purchase all this separate. Wet n Wild Lipglosses *Stardust & Sequins* Review & Swatches

Hello, how are you today? I hope you are all doing well, and are living happily in the holiday spirit, I can’t believe how fast this month is going by, and the holiday’s are right around the corner, and will be here before we know it, yeah so excited for that!! Today I am bringing you the rest of the wet n wild stardust & sequins collection from the holiday 2016 collection, so exciting right? I purchased most of the collection, and this is the last of the blog posts, I really wanted to split them up, and do separate posts, to really focus on everything in the collection, because it’s that amazing! This blog post is going to be just for the lip glosses, I didn’t think I was going to do this post, because when I ordered from wet n wild online, I only purchased two of the lip glosses, not all four, I just wanted to try them, to see if I liked them or not. Well, needless to say, I fell in love with them, and had to have the other two in the collection. The first store I went to had them, yeah! Score, so I added them to the collection for the review, I have been using them every day, and love them! 

The lip glosses in this collection, are not only beautiful, but they are so unique, and absolutely stunning. The formula, is unique as well, it’s not like anything I have used before, including high end, and drugstore. It’s hard to describe, but they are non tingly, no plumping, but yet, very moisturizing, and shiny. They are non sticky, and the color, or shade lasts on your lips, these never cake up in the corners, or get yucky at all. They kind of remind me of the colourpop lip glosses, as far as the metallic shine, and texture. I really have been enjoying them, and thing they are definitely worth checking out because they are only $2.99 each! Amazing glosses for that price! Try them out for yourself!

Tarte “Pretty Paintbox” Collector’s Makeup Case Holiday Review

Hello lovies! Welcome to the blog today, thank you for your continued support, and coming back to check out today’s post, and review! Hope you are all having a fantastic start to your day! This post is for the new holiday collection palette from Tarte, well okay, they call it a makeup case, and it definitely is more like a case then a palette. It is called the pretty paintbox collector’s makeup case, it launched about a month ago, but I am just now getting the review up. I actually kinda forgot about it, since I just purchased the tarteist pro palette, yes a review will be coming on that as well, but anyways, this makeup case is absolutely beautiful! I bought the one from last year, and the year before, I am a Tarte junkie, I can’t help myself, I love these palettes, especially when they are in beautiful packaging. This collection this year is totally different then last year, the color selection is different, the little minis that you get with the makeup case are different, and the outer design obviously is different. If you are a makeup junkie like myself, you will love this, and if you have a lot affair with Tarte, you will also love this! The packaging design is so hip, and modern, it’s a really cool neon colored swirl designed fabric. The makeup case last year did zip all the way around, this year though it doesn’t, it just closes shut, no zipper closure, I also love the flip up design this year where the little samples are kept, I feel like it wastes a little bit of packaging room, but it is perfect for travel, and is an all in one compact design, which I really enjoy, and will definitely use for travel. The product, and color selection are really stunning, the blush colors are beautiful, and yet so unique, because I own almost every blush that Tarte makes, and these are slightly different, and new shades, they pulled out all the stops with this makeup case from the holiday collection that’s for sure, this is a show stopper, and must have, I love it, and can’t wait to use it more! I love that they included all the minis, and a full size eyeliner as well. The pan sizes for the eyeshadows, and blushes are a good size, and will definitely last a long time. They are both rich, and buttery, and last all day on the eyes, and cheeks. I think anyone would really like this palette! And, I am sure I will be getting the one next year lol, I love them that much! Tarte is an amazing brand, I’m a huge fan!

It is so fun to shop for good deals, there is always good finds at my Tjmaxx’s & Marshalls, I feel very lucky, that’s for sure, but I do follow the hash tags on instagram as well, so I know what to keep my eyes open for, and most of the time, if I search hard enough, and hit it right, I find them! The makeup selection during the holidays is always the best, but I save up all year, because I know it’s when they put out all of the best selection, and brands. The makeup, and skincare department is superb this time of year throughout the holidays! I keep finding high end brands for such amazing prices, unbelievable really. Some of the finds that I have found lately, are still available at the high end stores, (sephora) it’s awesome! As you can see this haul includes brands from Erzo Laszlo, Bare Minerals, Kat Von D, Formula X, Buxom, and Laura Gellar. I couldn’t believe I found all this awesome stuff, super excited to start using it! Welcome to the blog today, I hope you are all having a wonderful day, it’s pouring rain here today, so I hope you are staying dry, oh Oregon, I tell ya, it doesn’t stop until Spring lol! This week I did the blog review, and swatches for the blush, and highlighter in this collection, and promised I would review the lip gloss set as well! Here it is, later in the week, but I just had to share with you because the color selection is absolutely perfect, and seriously beautiful! I wanted to get some good swatches of the colors for you to really get a good feel for all the colors, and how highly pigmented they are. This collection I purchased at Khol’s but it is also available at Ulta as well. This is part of the new holiday collection from Lorac. It is part of the rose & rivalry collection, and are the alter ego lip glosses. The price on this I thought was to good to be true, but low and behold, these are all FULL SIZE lip glosses, and you get 6 in the collection for $25, amazing right? If you do the math this set is a $96 value, WOW!! I thought these would be mini sized, but nope, all full size!! These normally retail for $16 each, the value truly is unbelievable!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this at my local kohl’s I was so excited, and the colors are so pretty!! The glosses last for hours on the lips, and they smell like vanilla frosting, or cake, so no chemical smell here with these lip glosses, yeah! The colors are opaque, and glide on effortlessly on the lips, they are also non sticky, and look stunning over lipsticks, especially pretty I bet over their lipstick collection!! Let’s get right to the swatches, tell me what your favorite shade is!! Mine is the nude, which is in the color bae, it’s my perfect shade of nude!

They just came out with their new holiday collection, I saw pictures, and knew that I had to have some of the collection, because the colors were SO beautiful! Of coarse I jumped on it so fast that I didn’t really think about that there would be a black Friday sale coming up in a few days, lol, oh well, no 20 % off for me, or a free lip gloss, such a bummer, how many of you guys also hate when that happens? UGGGG! Okay, I had to take a little break, because I just placed another order because I wanted get the puppy love, and cat nap, they are for a good cause, and are on sale, so I also bought some pieces from the hello kitty collection, I can’t resist sales I tell ya, so I will be reviewing those as well, fun, fun! I am such a makeup junkie I tell ya, and always enjoy colourpop! If you haven’t ever tried anything from the brand, I highly recommend giving them a try, especially when they are having a sale!

I have really been loving colourpop lately, and have placed a few orders in the past couple months, and everything is always amazing, I really love when they release new collections, it’s the packaging lol! The eyeshadows, and matte lip glosses are always my favorite, because they are so affordable, and the colors are stunning, and last! I honestly think that the pigmentation in the eyeshadows are something like I have never seen before, and absolutely stunning, and beautiful! The pillowy texture is so interesting, and unique, you don’t have to use much to get an amazing eyeshadow look. The lip glosses also are smooth, and pigmented, and don’t cake up like a lot of glosses do, also they are non sticky!  Let’s check out what all I got from the new holiday collection from colourpop!

Hello lovies! I hope everyone is having a wonderful end to their week! I am really trying to stay focused on what needs to be done, and meet my goals every week, no matter how busy I get, after all I LOVE blogging, and photography! I got some fun, beautiful new backgrounds, so I am excited!! Love some diy backgrounds! The white fur is my absolute fav!! Anyways, as soon as this set came out, I knew I had to grab it! These sets are amazing, ya, I mean amazing value every year!! I had bought one 2 years ago, and love it. When you break it down per piece, the value is truly unbelievable!! Let’s take that $59 and divide it by 11, that’s just over $5 a piece!! WOW right? I can’t believe it, that’s why you really have to get it while you can. It is available at both Macy’s, and Nordstrom, and online as well. I highly recommend it. Lancome is a luxury brand, and products are never discounted, so I make sure to get this every year to try out more lancome products, because they are wonderful products!!
