Algenist REVEAL Concentrated Luminizing Drops rosé review, hello there lovies, let’s jump right into today’s blog post!! Let me tell you, it’s a pretty one, and the pigment is incredible as well, so so beautiful!! So, I am first going to say, that I got these at a discount, thankfully, I paid $14.99 for this, it is full size, and was brand new in the box! I found it at Marshall’s! I have found TONS of the Algenist line at Marshall’s, and TJmaxx in the last month or so, amazing deals, literally half the price of retail, I have picked up a few of the makeup products, this being one of them, and have really been loving them so far, so I thought I would do a review for this one, since it’s my favorite, and SO beautiful! My Marshall’s only had 1 of these, so I had to grab it! I was excited, because I have a sample size of this, and have tried it, and knew it was an awesome highlighter/ illuminizer! This comes in 3 different shades, the one that I was able to purchase is in the shade Rose, yes it’s gorgeous, and a must have in my opinion! It is so versatile, and is very light in formula, and I love putting just a little on the tops of my cheek bones, it gives the perfect amount of shine, and shimmer, but still remains light, not overpowering, without the chunky glitter look. Also, a little of this goes a long way, so this bottle will last for years I am sure! This is available at Sephora and retails for $38, but you can find them at TJMaxx, and Marshall’s right now, you just have to look! Hello all you lovely people, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and a good start to your week, boo for Monday, right? Oh well, got to get er done! I have been so incredibly busy with work, no time for blogging once again, but this week it is a slow week, so I plan on doing lots of catching up, I am going to Las Vegas again for work at the end of this week, yeah, so excited for some sunshine, and pool time! I plan on having pre scheduled posts though for next week, so I have lots of catching up to do, I need to work on being more consistent, that’s for sure, and something I know I need to work, and make time on! My Review: Wow, see I told you this was a good box! I am really glad that I got this box, the overall value is around $41, and it only cost me $10 (shipping included) I think that is an amazing value this month. This variation was perfect for me, Sephora is getting better at picking the right products for me,  yeah! I really enjoy everything in the box, the only product that was new to me, that I haven’t tried out was the Grande Lips lip plumper in clear. I have heard of the brand, but I haven’t tried it until getting it in the box, I like it, but it wasn’t very plumping, I am used to products like too faced lip injection, or buxom lip plumping glosses, this was a nice gloss, but it didn’t really do anything for my lips, I will continue to use it though as a clear gloss, or clear topper. Everything else I have tried, and really enjoy a ready. I especially love the Christophe Robin cleansing purifying scrub with sea salt, I have tried this before, and loved the way it made my hair feel, this brand has really impressed me with all their products that I have tried, I may even consider purchasing a full size at some point, I also really love the way it smells, it’s the perfect beachy scent! This month’s box overall was great, I am excited to continue to try out the products! Can’t wait to see what next months box will bring!

My Review:

First off, is this not the cutest packaging you have ever seen? I am so in love with this cuteness!! I love all of benefit cosmetics boxed powders, they are just the cutest! I am going to say something negative first though about the cute, and adorable packaging…… well, it isn’t durable at all, mine that I bought came with a partial tear in the lid, and that was really disappointing, the paper on this for the packaging doesn’t seem as thick, or as durable as the others in the past unfortunately. This blush retails for $29, which I think is a bit pricy for what it is, yes the pan size is large, but not for the actual amount you are paying in my opinion, the packaging is literally paper covered cardboard, and seems to be thrown together, not the usual quality that these typically are. Maybe I just got a poorly made one, but it was something I wanted to mention. The design of the gal on the front is super cute though, I love her glasses! Anyways, let’s talk about the actual product, the blush itself, it’s the cutest color, and shade of pink peach, the gold tones it down, while adding a gentle, and subtle glow, and shimmer. I always tend to be attracted to these types of blush shades, I like my blush to have a little bit of shimmer, without being over glittery, or to much of a shine, because let’s be real, this is a blush, not a highlighter. It really provides a beautiful coral, peach color to the cheeks. It truly is beautiful, and lasts all day without budging! I think this is a great addition to the benefit cosmetics boxed powder lineup, and a must have for a makeup collection! P.S. the brush it comes with is a cute wood handle small brush, that is good quality, but very difficult to hold, and use because of it’s size, but it is useable, and cute!

HIGH end beauty Las Vegas outlet shopping haul *Tom Ford, NARS, Burberry, Estee Edit*

Hello, hello lovies. Good day to all of you, okay, it’s night time when I am writing this post, but yes, it will be morning when this is posted 🙂 I hope your day is going wonderful so far, hopefully my day will be awesome as well. I mentioned in my last post yesterday that I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas, and had a great time, sunshine, pooltime, great food, and amazing shopping deals, are always so fun, right? My gosh, this was a great time this time, I really needed some sunshine, and pooltime to relax, but I got so damn sunburnt that I had to take a little break from the pools, and go shopping, my second favorite thing to do in Las Vegas besides the pool! Shopping is always so different in Las Vegas, because you just never know! I decided to try the North (in downtown Las Vegas) outlet mall this time, next time when I go in June, I want to go again to the North, but also want to see what is at the South, I also didn’t have time to do any other shopping this time, so gotta make more time for that next time as well! I am all about finding good deals!! I found some amazing deals on makeup this time, yeah!!! I couldn’t believe it, I was literally SO freaking excited when I saw there was a bare minerals store in the outlet, and a cosmetics company store as well, yeah!! I walked in to both of these stores, and almost cried lol, oh joys of a makeup lover lol! So anyways check out everything I got!! I will post the prices I paid as well just so you all know, what kind of amazing shopping deals you can get at these types of outlet stores in Las Vegas, so totally worth the trip, p.s. I took the bus from Bellagio, where I stayed to get there, it was definitely the way to save money, and travel while in Las Vegas, highly recommend it! Please let me know your favorite thing from my haul, I am curious to know, my favorite thing was both of the Tom Ford items, that bronzer/highlighter duo is LIFE, I saw it, and freaked out, so so beautiful my gosh yes!! These are my first 2 Tom Ford items in my collection, fyi, they are full of luxury, and elegance that’s for sure, simply stunning, and so is the price tag, lol, even at outlet prices!! I splurged, it’s always good to treat yourself every once in a while, why is makeup so beautiful, and pretty? LOL! Enjoy my haul! You can live through me, and my bad shopping habits! 🙂 Oh, and I do want to mention that Bare Minerals offers a free birthday gift (the full size eyeshadow) for your birthday, mine was April 14th, and I am a member because I am a Bare Minerals junkie, lol, so I got that for free! Also, the store was having an additional percent off because it was the weekend, so I really got great deals, I don’t know if they do this on non weekend’s though, so you may just get lucky like I did! The cosmetics company store was doing an additional 1/2 off everything in the store except Tom Ford, but that’s okay, they were still great prices!

Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2017 Review

Hi there all my lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, and happy hump day, lol, let’s jump right into today’s blog, because I only have a limited amount of time today (it’s nap time) so I am going to rush through this blog post today, I hope that’s okay. I just received my Walmart Beauty Box for Spring a few days ago, and wanted to get it up for you all as soon as possible, in case it’s still available, and you wanted to get one! The Walmart Beauty Box is $5 (that covers shipping, the box is free) this box is all beauty related, and is shipped quarterly, which is 4 boxes a year, 1 box per season. When you sign up for the box, it is automatically paid, and the $5 is deducted from your account for the box. I have been a subscriber since the first box was released, and think it’s a great valued box, although I do feel like the brands repeat quite a bit unfortunately, and wish they would get new brands to be in the box. I love trying out new products, hint to why I am a beauty blogger, lol, right? so this box has always been good for me, and a good deal, because otherwise I wouldn’t have the opportunity to try out these products. Everything that is sampled in the box can be found at Walmart, which I shop at anyways, so it is very easy to pick up the full size products, if I end up liking them, which is nice. Let’s check out everything that I got in my Spring beauty box, and fyi the box will vary depending on your age, I am 35, so I am not sure which box I get, and may have changed my age at some point to get the younger box lol, which I believe is called the “trendsetter” but, who knows! What do you think of the box? Do you think it is worth the $5 quarterly? Do you end up using the products, and or coupons? Sometimes I feel like I won’t use some of the products, and I am not a huge couponer either so I feel like those get wasted in the box. Hello, hello my beautiful lovies!! I hope you are all having a great Monday, and an amazing start to your day!! Today’s blog is a pretty one, thank you for joining me, and checking out my review. I am reviewing this Pixi by Petra, we are just going to refer to it as Pixi from now on in the blog just to make it easier on myself, lol. I was excited that I received this as PR from Pixi, they are the best, and I love all of their amazing products!! I really love getting packages from them, and feel very lucky! They sent me this beautifully cute 3 piece beauty kit, it is available at Target, and online at Pixi by Petra. This kit retails for $22.00, this kit is available in 2 different options, and collections, today I am reviewing the hello! Rose beauty kit, and it is part of their new collection, which is perfect for Spring! The kit was sent with real mini rose petals, their PR packages are the best, they really make an effort for packaging, and presentation! Opening the packaging it smelt like roses, such a bonus! This kit is perfect for any rose lover, the colors in the kit are so pretty, and pink, yet delicate, and will suite many skin tones, because of the light colors. I literally haven’t found a product that I don’t love from Pixi, they are hands down my favorite drugstore (high end drugstore) brand, I have been using, and loving their products for years!! This little kit is perfect for someone who wants to try out their products, without spending to much, etc. My favorite thing in this kit is the lip gloss, it’s the most beautiful shade of pink, it’s not to bright, or overpowering, it’s the perfect nude mauve, not sticky on the lips, and has a good wear time, and smells sweet, and glides on the lips effortlessly. I love this lip gloss, I will be getting it in the full size! I also really love the blush duo, the pink is subtle, and easily blendable into the skin, the highlight side of the duo is the same, and perfect for highlighting under the brow bone, or the cheeks, I used it for both, and love the color, and touch of bling it provides! This 3 piece beauty kit is defintely worth a try, as I am sure you will find a favorite, and fall in love with Pixi by Petra!

I hope your all having a wonderful week, and Spring is joining you as well, it is a bit here, and I am loving the breaks in the rain for a little sunshine!! I am here to bring you a really fun blog post today! If you haven’t seen, or heard about these unicorn brushes from unicorn lashes, where have you been? LOL, just kidding, but really they have been ALL over Instagram, and the internet have been buzzing about these for the past year, because they are absolutely STUNNING!! This set only is sold as a set, they do not sell the brushes individually, it is a set of 11 brushes for face, and eyes for makeup application, everything you will need all in a beautiful holographic zip storage case. These are sold in the UK so the price for these are $45 UK, and depending on US conversions on the day that you make your purchase the US dollar price currently when I am posting this is $56, this does not include shipping, and could change depending on price conversions as I mentioned! They were sold out at the time, and going for around $100-$150 on eBay for the set, so I was able to swap/purchase these from a seller, I got very lucky, because they were untouched still in their packages, so so lucky!! I jumped on them hotter then a hot tamale, lol, no joke! Okay, let me admit something here first, I did purchase these off of amazon, NO not these from unicorn lashes, the very cheap, generic version, I bought the entire set for $18, I received them in the mail, and immediately knew I would be sending them back, they smelt horrible, like paint, glue, and were nothing like the real, authentic brushes from unicorn lashes, not even close!!!! So back they went, and the next day I was lucky enough to swap/ purchase these, so I was super excited, and happy! I am, and was since I was a kid obsessed with anything unicorns, lately as an adult, not as much except for the last year, I am in love with anything translucent, unicorns, etc. and fell in love with these brushes the moment I saw them, so felt okay with spending the money, and getting them for myself because I knew I would love, and cherish them, and let me tell you, I am so happy with my swap/ purchase, I am literally in love with these brushes!! They are such high quality (like my MAC brushes) they are amazing, and finely made, the “horns” handles of the brushes are beautiful, it’s like your looking at an opal when you look at them, and the brush bristles, OMG can we take a moment? They are pure heaven, so rainbow, I don’t know how they did it, but they did, and I am SO glad I was able to get them!! The case that these come in just may be my favorite as well, not only is it beautiful, and so pretty, but very functional, because it stores each individual brush perfectly, so they are evenly spaced, and separated. Please check out the unicorn lashes website for pre ordering details, and check the conversion chart if you are in the US, because the conversions are constantly changing. Hello lovies, and welcome to the blog today!! I hope you are all doing well, and happy for a new start to your week!! Happy Monday, oh Monday’s I tell ya, are never any fun, especially after a holiday weekend, who’s with me on that?? 🙂 I have a fun, bright, excited eyeshadow for you today, it’s the afterdark palette from Urban Decay! My gosh, it was a must have for me, I HAD to have it, even though I own some of the colors individually, lol, I love these bold jewel tones, they were right up my alley!! The packaging also drew me, it is STUNNING!! I am a package junkie for sure, especially when it’s holographic, or iridescent! I seriously can’t help myself! I knew this was more of a collectors piece then practical, but that’s okay, a reason why I love it! I was able to find this in store at Sephora inside JCPenny, I feel like my local store has a lot of sold out, or almost sold out items for some reason or another, so that’s awesome, I guess I just got lucky! Let me tell you, I am glad that I got it, the colors, and pigmentation are beautiful, as you can see in the swatches! My favorite color in the palette is LOUNGE, which I already own the full size individual of, so now I just have a back up! It is so versatile, and can be used alone, as a topper, or blended with other colors, to give a sultry look. Every shade in this palette, the formula is exactly what is expected of urban decay, highly pigmented, rich in pigment, smooth, buttery, and very easily blendable! Urban decay eyeshadows are my favorite, they have been for years, I have a lot of their eyeshadows, both palettes, and individuals, and can’t get enough for my collection. They are simply the best! The consistency of the quality of their shadows is unsurpassed!! I definitely think that if you can get your hands on this, you should give it a try. Try looking inside sephora JCPenny stores. Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today! I bet you clicked on this post because you have seen pictures or spoilers of this new collection by Estee Lauder! This is the new Bronze Goddess collection for 2017!! Again, I had seen pictures on trendmood1 on instagram, and knew that this had to  be in my makeup collection. My gosh it is stunning, such a beautiful work of art!! This is a highlighter, and omg gorgeous! It literally is so shiny, it’s almost like pure gold! I was very lucky in that, I just happened to be at Nordstrom, and asked them if they had any in stock, and she said she was almost sold out, so she grabbed one for me. I was so excited that I actually had one in my hand! I then went over and immediately swatched the one they had on display! I literally barely touched it, and it was like I was touching gold, liquid gold, liquid pigment, liquid butter!! This highlighter is in the gelee formula, which means it is very soft, almost gel like in texture, hint the name gelee lol! It is so luminous, and sparkly, I really couldn’t believe it! A highlighter doesn’t get much better then this, I said to myself! Wow, I was amazed!! Okay, so I do have to admit something, this is my first actual beauty/ makeup product from Estee Lauder, I do have a few products from the Estee Lauder, Estee Edit collection though, and love them! I will link the review of the Estee Edit Palettes down below, the formula on those were amazing as well, definitely a must have. I think Estee Lauder as a brand is really trying to push new, innovative products into the beauty world, aiming at the younger crowd, which I think is pretty great! No, I unfortunately do not consider myself the younger crowd, as I am 35, but the shade selection, advertising, etc, of Estee Lauder are really focusing on that right now in my opinion, to get more types, and ages of women (and men) to use their products! I was excited to have this in my hands! Such a hot item, I got lucky! These are selling out SO fast, so if you want one, you have to be very quick!! They are coming in stores soon like Nordstrom, and Macy’s, etc. so get it while you can before it sells out! It is absolutely stunning, and the outer packaging is to die for beautiful as well!! Such high quality, and attention to detail they put into this highlighter, or gold, as I like to call it!! I do want to mention that this is the number 2 to the original bronze goddess heat wave highlighter, I do not own the first one, but from pictures, and swatches that I have seen, they are similar, but the number 1 original was more matte, as in not as shimmery, or sparkly. It was gold, just less shimmer. This one however, is VERY gold, and over the top sparkly, and shimmery, much like how I picture a gold bar! Sorry, I can’t compare the 2, but I sure would like to own the number 1 original one as well. Enjoy the beautiful pictures, and swatches!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in “Prismatic Amethyst”

 

Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, maybe you are new here, or a long time follower, regardless hello, and welcome, I hope you visit often, and enjoy my blog! Today I am posting a brand new product that has just came out, okay maybe it’s not even out yet, but it is to me so far (I am a VIB Rouge) at Sephora, so I was able to purchase it online, yeah!! Let me introduce to you the newest product from one of my favorite beauty brands Becca!! Becca as you may know has the best highlighters hands down in my opinion. I saw some sneak peek pictures of this on Trendmood1’s instagram, and omg did I get so excited? I am obsessed with anything purple, or pink, and holographic. I knew this would be mine, lol!! I couldn’t contain my excitement, as soon as I saw that it was available to purchase for me, I jumped on it!! I was literally living for this highlighter from Becca!! The highlighter is $38, and available at Sephora.

I just got it in the mail yesterday, opened my package, and it is absolutely gorgeous, for real gorgeous, almost to beautiful to touch, but I will for you guys maybe, lol! The packaging outer box is completely holographic, my eyes were instantly in love!! I opened the box, and found this beautiful, shiny silver, and light purple packaging, Becca’s packaging reminds me of space saucers, anyone else? 🙂 This is a pressed highlighter with the special edition packaging, much like the rose gold edition highlighter, and has the same diamond, criss cross pattern, on the powder itself, like an imprint, I wish they would have done something different though, just to switch it up a little, and make this one different, but that’s okay. What a beautiful, highly pigmented highlighter, I knew that it was perfect for me, and my skin tone, but I do have to be real here, did I really think I would use it? Would it just sit in my makeup collection? Well, the answers to those questions are I don’t know, but I hope I will use, and love it!! It’s so different, it totally reminds me of the new alchemist palette by Kat Von D, which I love, but don’t use much unfortunately. Hopefully on my feeling bold days, I will use them both! I am really glad that I purchased this, you can purchase it HERE @Sephora  as well, and as soon as it becomes available to everyone, and in stores, definitely recommend it. It is exactly like other pressed highlighters that I have tried, and own from Becca, very light in touch, and application, highly pigmented, buttery soft, and buildable. I love Becca powders, and products in general. They are always superb quality, and last a very long time! The colors are suitable for most skin tones as well. I recommend this one, if your looking for the colored highlighter look, it’s the perfect shade of purple, just for a pop of color on your cheek bones. I can’t wait to experiment with it more!! 🙂
