Hello, hello lovies. Good day to all of you, okay, it’s night time when I am writing this post, but yes, it will be morning when this is posted 🙂 I hope your day is going wonderful so far, hopefully my day will be awesome as well. I mentioned in my last post yesterday that I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas, and had a great time, sunshine, pooltime, great food, and amazing shopping deals, are always so fun, right? My gosh, this was a great time this time, I really needed some sunshine, and pooltime to relax, but I got so damn sunburnt that I had to take a little break from the pools, and go shopping, my second favorite thing to do in Las Vegas besides the pool! Shopping is always so different in Las Vegas, because you just never know! I decided to try the North (in downtown Las Vegas) outlet mall this time, next time when I go in June, I want to go again to the North, but also want to see what is at the South, I also didn’t have time to do any other shopping this time, so gotta make more time for that next time as well! I am all about finding good deals!! I found some amazing deals on makeup this time, yeah!!! I couldn’t believe it, I was literally SO freaking excited when I saw there was a bare minerals store in the outlet, and a cosmetics company store as well, yeah!! I walked in to both of these stores, and almost cried lol, oh joys of a makeup lover lol! So anyways check out everything I got!! I will post the prices I paid as well just so you all know, what kind of amazing shopping deals you can get at these types of outlet stores in Las Vegas, so totally worth the trip, p.s. I took the bus from Bellagio, where I stayed to get there, it was definitely the way to save money, and travel while in Las Vegas, highly recommend it! Please let me know your favorite thing from my haul, I am curious to know, my favorite thing was both of the Tom Ford items, that bronzer/highlighter duo is LIFE, I saw it, and freaked out, so so beautiful my gosh yes!! These are my first 2 Tom Ford items in my collection, fyi, they are full of luxury, and elegance that’s for sure, simply stunning, and so is the price tag, lol, even at outlet prices!! I splurged, it’s always good to treat yourself every once in a while, why is makeup so beautiful, and pretty? LOL! Enjoy my haul! You can live through me, and my bad shopping habits! 🙂 Oh, and I do want to mention that Bare Minerals offers a free birthday gift (the full size eyeshadow) for your birthday, mine was April 14th, and I am a member because I am a Bare Minerals junkie, lol, so I got that for free! Also, the store was having an additional percent off because it was the weekend, so I really got great deals, I don’t know if they do this on non weekend’s though, so you may just get lucky like I did! The cosmetics company store was doing an additional 1/2 off everything in the store except Tom Ford, but that’s okay, they were still great prices!

Mac Cosmetics “Work It Out” Collection Prep & Prime Setting Spray Fix + Rose & Lavender Review

Hello there all my lovies!! Thank you for joining me today on the blog! This week has been busy as usual, and am playing a little bit of catch up, but hey, what else is new! I hope you are all having a great day!! Sorry this post is posting late, as I usually post in the morning at 8AM, but just didn’t have time to get the post up early, and I figured better late then never! So on the blog today, I have had these for about a month now unfortunately, and had the post on my “to do” list, and am just now finally getting around to it, I’m sorry, I missed the ball on this one, and they are all sold out now at stores online, and on Mac Cosmetics online. I knew these would be popular, and sell out fast, I am really glad that I snagged 2 when they came out! These are from Mac Cosmetics, one of my absolute favorite makeup up brands, and products, these were part of the work it out collection, and were special edition. Most of the collection is still available online though, just all 3 of these special edition fix+ collection are sold out. I did purchase mine at Nordstrom, so I got lucky before they sold out. When these were released in the full size, they were very popular, and sold out very quick, I actually didn’t purchase them, in hopes that mini’s would come out, okay, let’s be real, it takes me FOREVER to go through a full size of anything especially fix+ since I don’t use it every day, and only use it on special occasions on my brush to make pigment brighter, and as a setting spray when I really want my makeup to stay put, definitely not something I use daily, or even weekly for that matter, so I knew I really just wanted a mini, or 2, and I wanted all 3 scents originally, but settled with just the 2, since I didn’t really like the scent of the coconut scented one. I have been using these two, the rose, and the lavender, and they last forever, so I am glad I got the minis! The spray on these are amazing, I think I am going to save the bottles, and refill them with maybe a toner for my skincare, because the way these spray are absolute perfection, it dispenses the perfect amount needed, I really enjoy them a lot! These both smell amazing, without being over powering, the lavender is my favorite of the two! Fix+ makes any eyeshadow brighter, making any type of pigmented product wet, makes them more intense, and stand out more, I have been using this product, (the regular fix+) for years, it really does make a difference when you are going for more bold eye looks. This product has many uses though, so the uses are endless, and very versatile.

They were sold out at the time, and going for around $100-$150 on eBay for the set, so I was able to swap/purchase these from a seller, I got very lucky, because they were untouched still in their packages, so so lucky!! I jumped on them hotter then a hot tamale, lol, no joke! Okay, let me admit something here first, I did purchase these off of amazon, NO not these from unicorn lashes, the very cheap, generic version, I bought the entire set for $18, I received them in the mail, and immediately knew I would be sending them back, they smelt horrible, like paint, glue, and were nothing like the real, authentic brushes from unicorn lashes, not even close!!!! So back they went, and the next day I was lucky enough to swap/ purchase these, so I was super excited, and happy! I am, and was since I was a kid obsessed with anything unicorns, lately as an adult, not as much except for the last year, I am in love with anything translucent, unicorns, etc. and fell in love with these brushes the moment I saw them, so felt okay with spending the money, and getting them for myself because I knew I would love, and cherish them, and let me tell you, I am so happy with my swap/ purchase, I am literally in love with these brushes!! They are such high quality (like my MAC brushes) they are amazing, and finely made, the “horns” handles of the brushes are beautiful, it’s like your looking at an opal when you look at them, and the brush bristles, OMG can we take a moment? They are pure heaven, so rainbow, I don’t know how they did it, but they did, and I am SO glad I was able to get them!! The case that these come in just may be my favorite as well, not only is it beautiful, and so pretty, but very functional, because it stores each individual brush perfectly, so they are evenly spaced, and separated. Milani “Keep It Sweet” Sugar Lip Scrub & “Keep It Sweet” Sugar Lip Treatment Review

Hello lovies, welcome to the blog today, I hope you are all doing well, and happy Friday, yeah it’s Friday already, I really can’t believe it, this week sure has flown by! I wanted to at least get 2 blog posts up this week, to keep up with goals, because last week was a bust, to busy I tell ya! I hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing, and enjoyable weekend! I also hope the weather is nice, and warm, and sunny for you, I sure hope it is for me that’s for sure, please sun, please come visit me, lol!! 

I have a fun post for you today, I was able to purchase this set from a private seller in a makeup group, because none of my local drugstores carry them, I knew they were releasing, and really wanted to give them a try, because I don’t own anything from Milani, and I am obsessed with lip scrubs, and treatments, so these were a must have, must try for me. I was so lucky to find them for sale, and she shipped them to me. I got them a while ago, and am just now getting around to trying them, and OMG I am in love, I will definitely be purchasing these again when they run out. These retails for $10 each, and are available at drugstores, although Milani does go on sale from time to time, so they do go on sale. These are both hard to find as I know, and when they are restocked, they do sell out quickly, because they are quite popular, and everyone loves them, and I can see why! I love both of them. They smell so sweet like vanilla cupcakes, no joke, or like frosting, the scent is amazing, and isn’t over powering, or to strong. My lips in the winter get very dry, and cracked, and I am always looking for a good lip scrub, and treatment, I use both of these products now 2-3 times a week, and it is really helping to not only exfoliate my lips, but truly moisturize them as well. I think purchasing both was the smartest idea, because using the combination really seems to work the best, although I do use just the lip treatment on it’s own throughout the day as well, and enjoy it on it’s own, it keeps my lips supple, and juicy feeling, much lip a balm, but a thick balm, so it’s really a treatment. This especially works well overnight, it’s my favorite, and lives on my nightstand! It’s a must have in my opinion, and definitely recommend it! Milani is a great brand, and has a lot of great products, I would love to try more now! Let me know if you have tried either of these, and how you like them! OMG so this just happened today, I feel like I have been waiting forever for this collection to launch from Tarte Cosmetics, maybe it really wasn’t forever, but it sure felt like it, it must because I KNEW I had to have it all, this was right up my alley, and literally was calling my name, “Come and buy me Renee, it’s so magical, and it’s everything you’ve ever dreamed of” yep, that’s it, lol! Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer & Blush Review & Swatches

Hello all my lovies!! How are you all doing today? I hope your having a wonderful start to your day, and are smiling!! Thank you so much for coming to the blog today to check out my review for the Physican’s Formula Butter Bronzer, and Blush! I was finally able to find these at my local Rite Aid store, they also have them at Ulta, Target, and other stores I have began seeing as well. The bronzer isn’t necessarily new, but the blush it, so I didn’t own either, so I figured I would just get both to review for you all. I also got them on sale for buy one, get one half off, so that was definitely a bonus, and reason to buy both, why not right? These drugstore products, like anything from the brand Physician’s Formula aren’t cheap, they retail for $14.99 for the bronzer, and $12.99 for the blush. The blush is a smaller size as well. They do go on sale, so just keep a look out for that! Let’s get right into my review! 

My Review: 

Alrighty, so you all know that I am not a huge fan of drugstore makeup, but I am trying more, and more trying to get a variety of products, and brands for review. So, I just wanted to start off by saying that, and be upfront, and honest on that. These are actually my first Physican’s Formula products ever, lol, I know, I know, that seems ridiculous, but it’s true. I am a high end makeup kinda girl, I can’t help it. So for blogging purposes, I am stepping out of my comfort zone. I feel like this brand is one of the better drugstore brands, and have high hopes! As I mentioned above these retail at $14.99, and $12.99. I feel like for those prices, they should be bigger pan sizes, but I think most of the cost went into the packaging. The packaging is cute, and practical with the included sponge, but it’s very bulky, and the sponge is useless really. I don’t know who uses those anyways! I do like the rainbow packaging, and the imprint on the pan, but the pigmentation is HORRIBLE!!! As you can see in the swatches, there is barely nothing visible, I even built those swatches up 3 times, adding more, and more product, but as you can see, there still wasn’t much color, or pigmentation. I am used to color, saturated color, high impact color, buildable color, but these were none of those unfortunately. I really had high hopes, but these are pretty bad, and don’t show up at all on my skin, even when I applied them to my cheeks, still nothing. What a bummer, because for the price, it should. The only positive thing that I can say about these are the formula. I think the formula is very buttery, and soft, and they do blend well, but the color pay off is terrible. Sorry to post negative things, but I am being honest. Thank you for reading, please let me know your thoughts, and if you have tried these. I don’t recommend these, and most likely will be returning them sadly 😦

Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection Miracle *Diamond Sponge* Review

Hello lovies, happy happy Wednesday to all of you! I hope your having a great half of the week day, hump day! We made it through half the week, lol!! Okay, I will keep it real, I am writing this on Sunday, lol trying to catch up on blog posts while I have a free moments, so Happy Sunday! lol! Busy, busy weekend for me! Lots, and lots of work, 3 days straight to be exact! Yikes, but it’s all good, I love what I do 🙂 Today’s blog is a good one! I searched high and low at 3 different ULTA stores to find this new sponge, the miracle diamond sponge by real techniques, and finally found it, yeah!! I wanted to get a review up quickly, because it’s pretty awesome, and beautiful as well! Hey, it’s always fun to apply your makeup with something beautiful right? I am a sucker for pretty things, and diamonds for that matter, after all, diamonds are a girls best friend!! 

I am a huge beauty blender fan, if you haven’t been introduced into the makeup sponge world, let me introduce you. I, at first was skeptical, but wow, such a life changer, seriously SO worth the money, the look you achieve with applying your foundation, and concealer with a beauty sponge is unlike anything you can achieve with your hands, or a brush! If you have never tried any type of sponge, you really should! Okay, so like I said I normally use beauty blender brand sponges, but I like to try new ones, especially ones that are much cheaper, because who doesn’t like saving money? If it works the same, why not spend less? In my opinion, there is no reason to spend more! So I have been a long time fan of the real techniques miracle complexion sponge, it applies my makeup just like a beauty blender does, and it’s so much cheaper! It’s literally 1/3 the price of a beauty blender! I love the flat angle to the sponge, it works really well at patting out concealer, and fits perfectly around my nose, and eyes. So, as you can imagine since I love the regular miracle sponge by real techniques so much, I had to try the new diamond one! The shape, and angles really interested me, I wondered how well it would really work. It is also very pretty, yep, I feel for the pretty factor of it!!! Their is a price difference though, the miracle diamond sponge is $9.99, and the regular miracle sponge is $5.99. All in all, considering I don’t think the price difference is to bad.

Review-

This sponge is beautifully packaged, and once you get it open, ps it was difficult to open, but I guess that is to prevent theft in the stores, so it makes sense. The sponge once wet, expands nicely, definitely get’s to a bigger size, and more soft, not to big, not to small, just the right size to hold in your hand. The different textures, and edges make my foundation, and concealer application look flawless, it provides a true airbrushed effect, just like with any beauty blender, or sponge application, without being streaky, or having brush strokes, which is nice!! The pointed tip gets right into my inner corner, and crevices of my nose, really blending out my foundation, and concealer without making it look patchy, or smeary. I enjoy this beauty sponge more than the original Real Techniques beauty sponge, but will continue to use both, and the variety, because I like to switch it up every now and a then for variety of application, etc. I definitely will be repurchasing this product again, when this one is done. The only negative thing about the miracle diamond sponge that it is awkward to hold especially when you use both ends, and it’s too pretty, lol, it took me forever to break into the packaging, and actually use, and review it for you all, because I didn’t want to mess up the grey/white marble color of the sponge! Ugh, the OCD in me was screaming lol! Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in “Prismatic Amethyst”

 

Hi there lovies!! Welcome to the blog today, maybe you are new here, or a long time follower, regardless hello, and welcome, I hope you visit often, and enjoy my blog! Today I am posting a brand new product that has just came out, okay maybe it’s not even out yet, but it is to me so far (I am a VIB Rouge) at Sephora, so I was able to purchase it online, yeah!! Let me introduce to you the newest product from one of my favorite beauty brands Becca!! Becca as you may know has the best highlighters hands down in my opinion. I saw some sneak peek pictures of this on Trendmood1’s instagram, and omg did I get so excited? I am obsessed with anything purple, or pink, and holographic. I knew this would be mine, lol!! I couldn’t contain my excitement, as soon as I saw that it was available to purchase for me, I jumped on it!! I was literally living for this highlighter from Becca!! The highlighter is $38, and available at Sephora.

I just got it in the mail yesterday, opened my package, and it is absolutely gorgeous, for real gorgeous, almost to beautiful to touch, but I will for you guys maybe, lol! The packaging outer box is completely holographic, my eyes were instantly in love!! I opened the box, and found this beautiful, shiny silver, and light purple packaging, Becca’s packaging reminds me of space saucers, anyone else? 🙂 This is a pressed highlighter with the special edition packaging, much like the rose gold edition highlighter, and has the same diamond, criss cross pattern, on the powder itself, like an imprint, I wish they would have done something different though, just to switch it up a little, and make this one different, but that’s okay. What a beautiful, highly pigmented highlighter, I knew that it was perfect for me, and my skin tone, but I do have to be real here, did I really think I would use it? Would it just sit in my makeup collection? Well, the answers to those questions are I don’t know, but I hope I will use, and love it!! It’s so different, it totally reminds me of the new alchemist palette by Kat Von D, which I love, but don’t use much unfortunately. Hopefully on my feeling bold days, I will use them both! I am really glad that I purchased this, you can purchase it HERE @Sephora  as well, and as soon as it becomes available to everyone, and in stores, definitely recommend it. It is exactly like other pressed highlighters that I have tried, and own from Becca, very light in touch, and application, highly pigmented, buttery soft, and buildable. I love Becca powders, and products in general. They are always superb quality, and last a very long time! The colors are suitable for most skin tones as well. I recommend this one, if your looking for the colored highlighter look, it’s the perfect shade of purple, just for a pop of color on your cheek bones. I can’t wait to experiment with it more!! 🙂

Mac Cosmetics Lip Scrubtious Review NEW!

Hello, hello there lovies! Welcome to the blog today, on this beautiful Tuesday! I hope your start to your week is going good, and you are ready for today’s post, hint, it’s a good one! I was so excited to get this, I am obsessed with lip scrubs, and mac cosmetics, so when I heard about their new launch lip scrubtious, I knew I had to try it!! I also was so curious as to how it would compare to my other lip scrubs. I was lucky because while I was on vacation a few weeks ago in Las Vegas, I went to the fashion show mall, to shop of course, and stopped into Nordstrom, I was glad I did, as I had perfect timing, they were just putting out the display for these babies! Yep, I got super lucky! I snapped a picture, and starting smelling, I literally wanted all of them, lol! I chose just one though, the flavor/scent that I choose was the Fruit of Passion, it was my favorite, although, I may end up buying a few more to add to my collection! Let’s jump right into my review! 

Okay, it smells amazing!!! It’s sweet, like a bright summer day, like your eating some delicious fruit in the sunshine, no really, it’s that good!! I can’t get over it, if this was desert, I would eat it in one bit, it’s literally scrumptious! lol! The consistency is light, and a tad bit oily, not heavy, but all lip scrubs have some oiliness to them to help moisturize. As you can see in the swatch, it really isn’t very gritty, or thick, and melts into your lips. It does a great job at scrubbing, and moisturizing, without being to heavy, or abrasive. I really enjoy it, and recommend it, and I am dying to try the other flavors. I bet you could always go in to get a sample, or try it! The only downfall is that there isn’t very much product, I wish the containers were bigger, for the price point, I expect more product, that’s my only complaint. Packaging is super cute, and it will keep it wet, which is nice!
