Sephora Favorites “Give Me Some Nude Lip” Set

Hello lovies!! I hope you are all having a great end to your week, boy has this week seriously flown by SO fast!! So much for keeping my goal of posting 3 times a week, man what happened I tell ya! Well, I was with my family all weekend, that’s what, yeah for spending time with my sweet nephews, they are 3 and 5, and we had so much fun, although I brought my computer, and have every intention of blogging, and catching up when they went to bed, that didn’t happen, because this Aunty Nene was exhausted! LOL, so I am still playing a bit of catch up on everything this week, and am just now getting around to posting, so I apologize for that, thank you for checking out this post today! I seriously am obsessed with all the Sephora Favorites, but the lippy sets always speak to me the most, and I just love them, this one was all nudes, what is better then that? This is a must have for any nude lippy lover like myself! Sephora Favorites give me some nude lip set retails for $28, but it is an $88 value, so these Sephora Favorites kits are always an amazing deal, they do sell out fast, as this one has in the past, but it is restocked now currently online, I am not sure if it is in stores or not though, hopefully they are! Make sure you grab it if you are wanting it, as with any Sephora Favorites, these are always very popular, and will eventually sell out, and be no longer available. This set contains a total of 7 products, 2 full size, 5 deluxe sample size. This set also includes some of my favorite lip products, and brands, so I knew I had to get it! The mini’s are just so cute as well!! This set is perfect for anyone, the packaging alone is SO cute, but the products, and presentation are even better! Hello Lovies!! Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week, and feeling happy, and in the holiday spirit for the coming holiday this weekend! I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here, this month has flown by! I have learned so much, and have gained so much in the blogging community this month, I very much thank you all again for your support. Today I have a really exciting blog post for you. Let me introduce you to the Too Faced Funfetti 5- piece Collection exclusively from HSN! This set is absolutely stunning, and an excellent value, it will also make a great gift for any beauty lover, because it has it all in the set! Yes, I do realize I am a bit behind the ball on this, however, I have no idea why I didn’t purchase it when I first saw it come out. I was really wanting it ever since I saw the very first sneek peek pictures. I still didn’t get it, I have never ordered anything from HSN, and was a little weary, even though I had no reason to be lol, so I jumped on eBay, and low and behold I bought one (with free shipping) yeah! It was sealed brand new in the HSN box, just like if I were to order it directly from them, I was so happy to finally have this in my hands, and add it to my collection! This is the cutest set I have ever seen, seriously though, these are my perfect colors, and I am sucker for cute, fun packaging, and I am obsessed with Too Faced, who isn’t right? Anyways, I am so excited to start using it now, I had to take some pretty pictures first of course for you guys! I definitely think while it’s still available on both HSN, and eBay that you get it while you can! The colors are absolutely stunning! Love this set!! It’s available for $68 plus shipping on HSN, and I purchased it off eBay for $59 including shipping, WOOP, SCORE not that one! I was lucky, but I still see them listed for not much more than retail. The value of this set is $122, if you were to purchase all this separate. I also wanted to mention that you can also purchase the palette itself for $42, but for the extra money, and value, you should just purchase the entire set right? Such a great deal, you won’t be sorry!

New Makeup At Sephora

Hello to all of you, and Happy New Year!! New Makeup At Sephora 12/18/15

Hello there lovies!!! Wow, December is FLYING by for me, work has been non stop, not much time for work, eat, sleep, repeat lately that’s for sure. As always, it’s hard to keep up, but I am trying, December is the busiest time of the year for me with work, so thank you for understanding, I appreciate it! Sorry this post is a bit late, I’m on my 16th hour straight working, so please bare with me! New Makeup At Sephora 9/11/2015

Hi there lovies! I can’t believe it’s Friday already, I hope you all had a fantastic week, I have been busy as usual, but this beginning of the week felt good, because I finally got caught up, and organized, I don’t know if you feel the same, but it never ends I tell ya, but that’s just the way life goes, and I love blogging for you all 🙂 As today is a very sad day in America, please take a moment to pray for the victims, and survivors of that horrible, tragic event on this day, September 11th. #neverforget EVER! I love all the support, and love on my blog as always, and I am trying to be better about posting consistently, and supporting all of your blogs as well, it would help if the wordpress app wouldn’t crash all the time, does anyone else have that problem? It’s so annoying, I am trying you guys, I am, and love reading, and catching up with all of your blogs, it’s so important to do that, and I know that, so thank you so much again for your continued support. 

Okay, there are so many new products this week OMG, seriously the makeup is going to be crazy from now until the holiday’s that’s just a given, I wasn’t blogging as much this time last year, so this will be super fun, but I know it will be a lot of work as well, but I still really enjoy blogging, so it’s all good! Hi there fellow makeup junkies! I hope you are all doing well, and having a great start to your week, after a long holiday labor day weekend, yeah always good to take a break that’s for sure, I hope you all enjoyed! It’s Tuesday, so it’s time for yet another tester Tuesday, crazy how many I have posted now, I just keep on going, I have SO many more samples to try, it won’t be ending, or ever running out that’s for sure lol! This week I picked from 2 of my most favorite brands those are too faced, and make up for ever. I have been a huge fan of both of these brands for many years, and love how amazing all their products are! I literally haven’t tried a product from either of these brands that I haven’t liked, or enjoyed.

The products that I chose were the melted lipstick, and the translucent powder, I have been really wanting to try both of these out, and although I am hesitant to actually post a picture of it on my lips, it’s a bit crazy bright for me, lol thus why the swatch is on my hand, I know a lot of people love these types of colors, and can totally rock it, but I don’t think I can lol! I did try it on my lips but yikes, totally not me 🙂 but I wanted to check out the formula, and how it wears on the lips, and if it truly lasts or not. I am going to admit, I am not a huge fan of lipsticks in general, I have always been a lip gloss girl, I can’t help it, like I have said before, it’s so tough because I constantly have dry lips, and chunks of lipstick isn’t attractive, are you with me on that? Crazy! So, as you can imagine I am not crazy about liquid lipsticks, because I can’t seem to find a moisturizing enough one, and formula for my dry lips, I would love, and appreciate any suggestions that’s for sure. Now on to the reviews! Enjoy!

Too Faced: Liquid Lipstick (melted candy) $21

What it is:

My review:

As I said before, I really wanted to try this, I couldn’t believe that I never had before, I have swatched some in the store, but never actually tried one. I think this color is a bit bright for anyone, especially for me, I feel like I can’t pull it off, but I know some can, just not me. I think the nude colors, and lighter shades I think are beautiful though, and I am considering purchasing one. I am just a nude type of lady, just my comfort zone. I like the staying power of the formula though, it lasted, and stayed put even through eating, and drinking, which I was surprised by. I wish that they were packaged differently. I don’t love the applicator it gets instantly messy the first time you squeeze it, makes a huge mess on the tip, and the cap, it also is difficult to apply on my thinish lips, hard to stay in the lines. It doesn’t have a weird smell or doesn’t chunk up on the lips at all, which is what I look for first, because my lips are so dry. Overall I think it’s a good product, a bit on the spendy end though, and I think a lot of product will be wasted due to the tube packaging, and sponge tip applicator. I want to try other colors now!

My review: 

Oh HD powders, there is so many different opinions on them, and so many reviews, including pros, and cons that’s for sure. I am going to give my honest opinion. Okay, here goes, I love anything make up for ever, I mean anything, and everything, they are an amazing company with the up most quality products, love them! I wanted to try there HD powder, and see if it would work for me. I have very oily skin, and have to always set my foundation, and concealer with powder, not matter what, so I wanted to put this to the test on my skin, but not on my under eyes because I didn’t want that flash back, even though I don’t take a lot of selfies, or pictures, but you never know right? So I applied it all over my face after foundation, and I really liked it, the powder itself is so finely milled, and soft I couldn’t believe how light weight it was. It didn’t make my face to white at all, and blended perfectly offering that HD look without the shine, and oil, which is exactly what I was looking for in a translucent powder. I do think this worked great for my skin, and skin type, and texture, and provided the matte finish I wanted. This is a great powder, and would definitely purchase the full size, and recommend, I think with this a little bit goes a long way as well.

Hey there, welcome to another tester Tuesday! I hope your weekend went great, I was busy as usual, but did find some time for some relaxing, even though I continue to feel like I am never ahead, and always playing catch up with everything, but that’s okay, I hope September will be better that’s for sure, oh the stresses of life, and trying to keep up! I love watching movies while blogging, right now I am watching, “the eye” with Jessica Alba, oh it’s a good one if you haven’t seen it, anyways lol, helps me pass the time while catching up on my blogging, what do you guys do while blogging? I also like to listen to music too. 

I picked some good products to test out this week from 2 of my favorite brands, yes we all know a few of my favorite brands, these two are definitely some of them because everything I have owned, or tried has been amazing from these 2 brands. I picked too faced better than sex mascara, and a new matte lipstick (it’s SO red, but beautiful) by urban decay. Both of these are very popular, and the mascara is a cult favorite of many others. I was excited when got a free sample of the new matte lipstick which is very red, but has an amazing formula, with long lasting staying power, perfect right? I also have only tried the better than sex mascara once, I know it seems crazy, but I haven’t. I do know that everyone loves it though! 

Urban Decay: Revolution Lipstick Matte~ $22

What it is:
A super-creamy, non-drying matte lipstick in an array of intensely-pigmented shades.

What it does:

My review: 

Even though this is a color I wouldn’t normally wear, I did want to give it a try, so I decided to give it a try, this is very red for me, and don’t love the matte look, although I am trying to be more experimental with lip colors, I have just always been a gloss girl, its my comfort, and my go to. This lipstick was very easy to apply, although I do want to mention that I did line my lips with a clear liner (the one from urban decay) to prevent bleeding. It worked perfectly, I tell ya that liner was a great invention, and love how you can use it with any color, it’s perfect. I really wanted to test the formula so I applied it just over the liner, no gloss over to keep the matte look, and feel. I ate, and drank as normal, and low and behold it stayed, I couldn’t believe it! I do think I still don’t love the drying effects of a matte lipstick, although I think it’s pretty, it just doesn’t seem to work well with my lips, I kept feeling like I should put gloss over, I know that seems funny. Although it was a matte lipstick it was very moisturizing just like I would expect from an urban decay lipstick, I have always loved the formula of urban decay lipsticks. The lipsticks are always so buttery, and the colors are beautiful, I do own a couple of neutral nude shades which I love! I definitely recommend urban decay in general for anything, and do think this is a great lipstick. 

Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara~ 

What it is:
An intensely black, volumizing mascara with an hourglass-shaped brush that separates, coats, and curls each lash to voluptuous perfection.

What it does:
Inspired by the curves of a woman’s body, the hourglass-shaped brush was designed with extra stiff bristles to maximize the performance of this carbon black, collagen-fueled formula. One coat and lashes are full and defined. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled, and dramatic. Three coats help you achieve the most intense, black, multidimensional lashes possible.

My review: 

OMG this mascara is fantastic, no joke, now I know why this is such a cult favorite! I couldn’t believe how glamorous it made my eyelashes look. My lashes were full, separated, and curled. They actually looked fake, I am not a huge fake lashes fan, only because I am paranoid about my eyes, but I can get the look with mascara, especially this mascara! I really love full lashes, and they make me feel beautiful, because my eyes are one of my favorite features, so anything that makes them pop, and stand out I love, so this was perfect. I like the formula as well, it’s not to wet, and applies easily without clumping, which is a big deal to me, I hate clumps, especially when applying the second layer, it drives me nuts! I also like the brush, I didn’t think I would, so I was happy with it, because without the brush they wouldn’t be as separated, and beautiful looking. The brush is a pretty basic one so I was surprised. I definitely recommend this, and will be buying the full size for sure, and the packaging is pink, and lovely!

New Makeup at Sephora 8/21/2015

Hi there lovies! I hope everyone has had a great week so far! I have had ZERO time this week to blog, or make videos, and it will continue for next week, not sure how I will find time, but I will figure it out 🙂 Thank you for your continued support as always, as blogging, you youtube doesn’t pay the bills (yet) LOL, so ya work always comes first, but when I am late, etc. I feel like I am letting all of you down, so I really try to not be, but it’s difficult sometimes when I have no time, and am exhausted from work, but carry on I will do! There were some great new products out this week, and am loving the new sephora favorite kits that keep coming out, I saw a sneak peek to the holiday one, and OMG I can not even wait, I am such a sucker for these, who’s with me on that? For sure, I can’t help it. Let’s see here, did I get anything from last weeks post? New Makeup at Sephora 7/17/2015 Huge Releases

Wowzers!!!! This week at sephora is popping, seriously SO many new awesome products are launching, it’s amazing, and from some of my favorite brands! Woop, super exciting! Can we even talk about the new UD smoky palette? I mean seriously, I CAN NOT wait, I decided to wait a little though and just order it from sephora instead of the UD website, why? I have no idea lol! I love naked palettes, and have them all, they are MY FAVORITE palettes of all time no joke! UD shadows are the best shadows besides mac that I have ever tried, no joke! Who is getting this gorgeous palette? Did anyone purchase anything from last weeks post? So I will admit, so much was launching that I am actually sitting here doing this post on Friday night after the other just posted this morning, I want to make sure that I don’t miss anything, and there is SO much I am having to pick and choose already!
