Yeah it’s time for tester Tuesday’s once again, love doing these posts so much, they are so fun! I don’t know about you guys, but my weeks seem to fly by I tell ya, every time I do these posts, I am like, what I just did one, lol! So let’s get right into this weeks post! This week I decided to test 2 things I have really been in need of this week. I have been wearing makeup more, and more on a daily basis, and was in serious need of both of these that’s for sure. It got really hot this last week, and will continue to be, so setting my makeup was a serious need so my makeup wouldn’t melt off! It’s amazing how your skin needs change with the seasons. I know summer has hit for most everyone else as well, so thought it would be great to review both of these products. Hey all makeup must stay put, and come off when needed, are you with me? These two are also from my top 5 beauty brands as well, so it was a perfect fit to review these this week!

Urban Decay: All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray: $30 (full size)

s1458173-main-hero-300

What it is:
A weightless setting spray that keeps makeup looking just-applied for up to 16 hours.

What it does:
Is makeup meltdown ruining your midnight mojo? Mist on this weightless spray to give your makeup serious staying power. Developed in an exclusive partnership with SKINDINÄVIA, this groundbreaking, clinically tested formula is suitable for all skin types and features patented Temperature Control Technology. It actually lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep foundation, eyeshadow, blush, and concealer in place—even in hot and humid or cold and windy conditions. The result? Smoother-looking skin and vibrant makeup that lasts all day (or night) without melting, cracking, fading, or settling into fine lines.

My review:

iminlove2 So in love with this spray, seriously, it has been a miracle worker. I spray it on and literally my makeup doesn’t budge at all for hours, even in the hot heat, I will post a picture of the day I used it below 🙂 I am definitely going to purchase the full size. I couldn’t believe how well this spray worked! It’s like hair spray for your face, without the sticky feeling! Even though it was 90 degrees outside, my makeup didn’t melt, and I had a full face of makeup on! Yeah urban decay for continuing to hit it out of the park with your amazing products! So worth the $30 that’s for sure!

Benefit: They’re Real Remover: $18 (full size)

s1626761-main-hero-300

What it is:
A waterproof eye makeup remover that completely lifts away makeup.

What it does:
This creamy gel formula effectively erases waterproof eye makeup without tugging the delicate eye area. Gentle yet powerful, it’s specially formulated to remove long-wearing mascara and eyeliner, and it leaves skin feeling soft, clean, and smooth.

My review:

Benefit is one of my favorite brands, and has been for years, I love all of their products! This remover was released not to long ago from benefit. I was a bit skeptical because they released this right around the time when the push up liner, and we all know how that turned out. They are releasing new colors of that liner this week from benefit, and nope I still won’t buy them lol! So this is a remover that is a bit different because it’s a gel formula. It is very gentle, and a little goes a long way with this. I just feel that a liquid formula works better, and is easier for me to use, especially for removing eye makeup. I feel like this is almost like a cleanser, so it was just another additional step that wasn’t needed in my opinion. I like it, but for $18 it wasn’t that great, and didn’t remove the stubborn mascara, and liner like I had hoped unfortunately. I don’t think I would purchase this, I think drug store brand liquid remover works just as well, and is a lot cheaper!
