“Tester Tuesday” Colab Tarte & Bite Beauty

Yeah, it’s that time, it’s tester Tuesday! I know so many of you look forward to this post every week, and although I have had a billion things going on, I am making time for this post! I hope all of you have had a great week, I am just crazy busy lately I tell ya! Okay so it has been amazing weather here in Oregon, so incredibly beautiful outside for the last week, I am loving the sunshine so much! I picked some good products to try out this week, and review. I have been wanting to use these samples for a while now, and really check out how they worked. These are both pretty well known, and loved products, so I thought these would be perfect to review this week! Thank you for all the support for these colab posts, it’s so fun working with other bloggers, and really enjoy being able to use some of my tons of sample products, and review them! 

Tarte Maracuja Oil: $48

What it is:
A treatment oil that targets individual skin concerns and delivers balanced moisture for firmer, brighter, and smoother-looking skin.

What it does:
Rich in essential fatty acids known to recharge and replenish skin, maracuja Oil works to rejuvenate and deliver an even-toned complexion while its infusion of vitamin C creates the appearance of brighter skin. This powerful elixir supports anti-aging and provides instant hydration—quenching dry skin without leaving it feeling greasy or filmy.

My review:

I love this oil, seriously love! I am a huge fan of facial oils, have been for about 2 years now. I have extremely odd skin since I have been on retin-a for my acne scars, it’s very dry, and flakey most days, oils really penetrate through my layers of skin. Facial oils are fairly new to the beauty world, and not many people are educated on how to use them, or what to use for their skin type. Let me explain, I normally have VERY oily skin, I always have, I was really nervous to use facial oils, and thought they would never work for me. This oil moisturizes perfectly, and absorbs fast, be careful not to use to much though, as it will leave a greasy, heavy look on your skin. One bottle will last a very long time, as you use it very sparingly. 

Would I purchase?: 

Yes, of course, I already have the full size! I actually was able to purchase the full jumbo size after Christmas on sale, yeah for sales! This oil is awesome, I will continue to purchase for sure! I think it would work well with any skin type as well. 

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask: $26

What it is:
A soothing, leave-on lip mask that replenishes moisture in lips.

What it does:
This innovative, natural formula smooths, nourishes, and moisturizes lips with a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and triple the amount of antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine.

My review:

This is a great lip mask, perfect for dry lips. I love the ingredients as well, this mask makes your lips feel hydrated, and smooth after. I actually put it on at night before going to bed, and leave it on, so it can really absorb into my lips. A little goes a long way with this. The scent is also amazing, it’s a light vanilla, sweet smell, that makes your lips very kissable after applying, hey all bite beauty products are food grade, and technically edible! I love this lip mask, and do feel it is worth the money, it reminds me of honey because it’s consistency, and texture. I have been using it every night, and really like it! 

Would I purchase?:

Yes, I definitely would re purchase the full size, I am glad that I got this to try in a set, and I think it will last me a long time as well, because you only need to use a very small amount. This is a bit pricey, but it really is a great product, and works amazing!
