#Betterskinchallenge Maybelline Influenster Voxbox Review

Hey there!! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I am so sorry about not getting my tester Tuesday blog up earlier, it has been a crazy week, so thanks for hanging in there, I hate when I am late because I loose some of you, because I know you count on that every week at 9 am PST, so I apologize. I am here today to share with you an awesome makeup product that I got for totally free, how you ask? It is from a company called influenster! (If you would like to join, click the badge on my blog, it will take you directly to the website) Okay, so influenster, you may have or have not heard of before is a product review site, it has lots of new products that are launching, and coming to the market! How it works is, they send you products to test, review, try, and share on social media, just like I am doing here 🙂 I was super excited that I was picked for this product launch. I don’t think I have received a voxbox from influenster in over a year, yikes, that’s a long time! Influenster was my very first shot at freebies, and product reviews, a friend posted on her instagram, and that gave me the idea of product reviewing, and blogging, I started my youtube channel, and the blog soon followed, pretty cool story huh? Thanks Jessica 🙂 I saw this friend about a year ago, and told her the story that she started it all, so great! I filled out a survey, and was lucky enough to receive this voxbox which contained the new foundation from maybelline! This new foundation is called better skin. Here are the claims for this foundation, and what it’s supposed to do for your skin.

 My review: 

I think this foundation from maybelline was literally made for me, and my skin. This was the perfect shade for me, which I am so thankful that they sent me the right one. It blended, and matched my skin tone perfectly. This foundation I applied with a damp beauty blender, I only had to use 1-2 pumps each application, a little goes a long way with this! I felt like it was good for my skin, truly making my skin healthy, and glow. I couldn’t believe how well it covered up my large pores, and felt so lightweight  on my skin. I had this foundation on for 14 hours the first time I tried it to really give it a good try, to my surprise it lasted ALL DAY! I do want to mention that I always wear foundation primer under my foundation, and I have very severe acne scars, large pores, and oily skin once again, so I have a lot of skin issues going on to deal with. This foundation from maybelline has medium coverage for me, but is buildable, and never looked cakey on me at all. I also always apply powder to set it and reapply it on my t zone areas throughout the day to keep it looking good, staying put, and matte. I think this is a great foundation, and definitely would recommend, and re purchase. It is priced at around $12.99 but you can get it on sale I am sure, for drugstore foundation it’s a good one, and I am very impressed!
