Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer & Blush Review & Swatches

Hello all my lovies!! How are you all doing today? I hope your having a wonderful start to your day, and are smiling!! Thank you so much for coming to the blog today to check out my review for the Physican’s Formula Butter Bronzer, and Blush! I was finally able to find these at my local Rite Aid store, they also have them at Ulta, Target, and other stores I have began seeing as well. The bronzer isn’t necessarily new, but the blush it, so I didn’t own either, so I figured I would just get both to review for you all. I also got them on sale for buy one, get one half off, so that was definitely a bonus, and reason to buy both, why not right? These drugstore products, like anything from the brand Physician’s Formula aren’t cheap, they retail for $14.99 for the bronzer, and $12.99 for the blush. The blush is a smaller size as well. They do go on sale, so just keep a look out for that! Let’s get right into my review! 

My Review: 

Alrighty, so you all know that I am not a huge fan of drugstore makeup, but I am trying more, and more trying to get a variety of products, and brands for review. So, I just wanted to start off by saying that, and be upfront, and honest on that. These are actually my first Physican’s Formula products ever, lol, I know, I know, that seems ridiculous, but it’s true. I am a high end makeup kinda girl, I can’t help it. So for blogging purposes, I am stepping out of my comfort zone. I feel like this brand is one of the better drugstore brands, and have high hopes! As I mentioned above these retail at $14.99, and $12.99. I feel like for those prices, they should be bigger pan sizes, but I think most of the cost went into the packaging. The packaging is cute, and practical with the included sponge, but it’s very bulky, and the sponge is useless really. I don’t know who uses those anyways! I do like the rainbow packaging, and the imprint on the pan, but the pigmentation is HORRIBLE!!! As you can see in the swatches, there is barely nothing visible, I even built those swatches up 3 times, adding more, and more product, but as you can see, there still wasn’t much color, or pigmentation. I am used to color, saturated color, high impact color, buildable color, but these were none of those unfortunately. I really had high hopes, but these are pretty bad, and don’t show up at all on my skin, even when I applied them to my cheeks, still nothing. What a bummer, because for the price, it should. The only positive thing that I can say about these are the formula. I think the formula is very buttery, and soft, and they do blend well, but the color pay off is terrible. Sorry to post negative things, but I am being honest. Thank you for reading, please let me know your thoughts, and if you have tried these.
