Hello lovies!! Tester Tuesday is back in full effect!! This is my second post to the series, I hope you all enjoyed the first one. I really enjoy doing these posts, and I think they are a lot of fun! I love how I get to try, and use up products, trying samples, something new every day, or weekly is so fun, it’s the blogger in me, lol! It seems like you all really liked my last weeks post, they were definitely two good picks. This week, I am bringing you two new products that I am trying out, and these are also good ones! I hope you all like reading my reviews as much as last week, and continue to come back every Tuesday at 9 AM PST to check out what I am testing out for the week! Please let me know if there is something specific you would like to see for Tester Tuesday, if I have it I will gladly do a review the following week, just let me know! I love giving my opinion on products, but hey, we know that, it is why I am a beauty blogger after all! 🙂 Let’s get right into this weeks post, enjoy!
Today I am testing, and reviewing 2 products, both of which I have never tried before, that is the point though right? lol, I am reviewing the Fresh sugar lip serum advanced therapy, and the glamgldw supreme clearing treatment. You can find these both at Sephora, and other locations as well. I received both of these samples at some point, most likely from sephora. I thought these 2 picks would be a good choice this week, because I don’t know about you but my lips are getting SO chapped, it’s ridiculous, this cold weather has not been good on my skin, or my lips. And, glamglow is always amazing, so I thought I would try a new one this week for my face mask, I thought it would help really draw out my pores, in prep for this cold weather.

Activated-X charcoal lifts away dirt and other skin congestions, resulting in a refined, healthy-looking complexion.
My Review:
Oh Glamglow you get me every time. I simply love you, I can’t help it! Glamglow is so luxurious, but it really does work. Glamglow has so many good ingredients in it, that it works for so many skin types, and is amazing at cleaning out dirty pores. It really pulls all the dirt out, and truly makes your skin feel incredibly smooth, and clean. This clearing treatment does exactly that, it clears! My skin, and pores feel so much better, and clean. This mask has a skin tightening affect, but it doesn’t get to tight which is good, I love this mask just as much as I enjoy all the glamglow masks I’ve tried.

My Review:
Okay, let me first say that normally everything from Fresh I enjoy, and I know it’s a great brand, and always great quality products, but I really didn’t like this product. They claim that it’s a revolutionary product that helps nourish your lips, but why do we really need a lip serum? I honestly don’t understand the concept, I have it on right now as I am tying this, and it’s like there is lotion on my lips, and it dries down to nothing, it’s different, and no really moisturizing either, I defiantly would not purchase a full size, and don’t recommend it, maybe as a night treatment, which I have also tried, and it just rubs off before I even fall asleep, it’s a slippery product, you defiantly can’t eat or drink with it on, which is odd. It does absorb into your lips, but why not just use lip balm? I don’t recommend this, and the scent isn’t horrible, but it’s not good either. I would skip on this product, but will continue to keep trying it to see if if it does any of the claims after several uses, but I haven’t seen those kind of results thus far.
I really want to try Glam Glow sometime. Everyone seems to love it!

Before I read your review on the lip serum I simply saw the picture and was like wow this looks like it could be good but simultaneously confused why people use lip serums, just as you noted. I couldn’t help but to giggle that you literally wrote out my exact thoughts before me even reading it. Face mask sounds great though. can’t even go wrong with a mask. This is a weird question but is the mask scented?

Too bad you didn’t like the Fresh lip serum – the concept of a lip serum is kind of weird. I had one before and it was the consistency of a white face cream and made my lips look pasty. I guess they’re just trying to sell us more crap! 😉

It just doesn’t make sense to me, I tried it again last night, and my lips feel soft but I don’t know it just seems silly, and gimmicky for sure I tell ya!
