Hi Lovies! I am so glad you are all enjoying this weekly post every week, it really makes a difference, and makes me want to try products every week, and post for you, so thank you for your support! I have been trying SO many great products lately, I think I am going to work on a “sample empty” post I literally have 3 large zip lock bags full of samples I have tried, I am slowly getting through them all lol, what you all don’t know is that I use samples every day trying to use them up, but only pick 2 to do full reviews on every week, it’s pretty fun I tell ya! I am ready to through some in the garbage, so I will be doing that post in the next few weeks, and will be posting a video as well, so stay tuned for that 🙂 Okay I picked 2 great samples this week, but let me tell ya I could only get this one picture of them because the purple color really throws off my camera, turned everything yellow, glad I at least was able to get one picture, the taste sunscreen bottle is so cute! Okay on with the review, I am sampling tarte sunscreen, and jack black shea lip balm, and let me tell you I loved them both!!! Yeah for trying, and loving new products! Have you tried either yet? I was able to score through point perks from sephora 2 sample size bottles of the tarte sunscreen so was happy about that, because I love it!

Tarte: Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen full size $32

s1682053-main-hero-300

What it is:
A portable, non-chemical sunscreen that helps to protect, moisturize, brighten, and re-invigorate skin for a youthful-looking appearance.

What it does:
Protect skin from harmful rays—even on-the-go—with tarte’s first multi-tasking, antioxidant-infused daily sunscreen. The lightweight, non-sticky liquid lotion contains all-mineral, non-chemical and broad spectrum SPF 30 ingredients that help protect against the sun’s damaging UVA/UVB rays that can cause dryness, redness, dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. Recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation for daily use, the skinvigorating™ formula is also infused with maracuja, red algae, soybean, apple, and honeysuckle extracts to nourish, tone, and retain moisture while helping to combat signs of aging for a firmer, brighter, smoother appearance. The fresh, ocean’s lily scent allows for luxurious, spa-like daily applications, while the high-performance liquid emulsion seamlessly melts into skin, leaving it supremely soft and silky.

Wow, let me tell ya, I love everything tarte, let me just start with that disclaimer, as tarte has always been one of my favorite makeup brands! I seem to love everything they release, and own a lot as well. So they released this sunscreen a while ago, and to be honest I was kinda like, why would they release a sunscreen, I didn’t understand the concept really, and thought it was way over priced as well. The purple bottle packaging really got to me though, it was so darn cute! So sephora had it in point perks this last month, and I was able to get 2 bottles of it, and I am so glad that I did. I had been really wanting to try it out! This sunscreen has ALOT of really unique ingredients which I loved that it was actually good for your skin. Take a look above at all those awesome ingredients, seems amazing right? Well it really is. I love the way it smells, very non sunscreen smelling, light, airy, natural, and it applies so well, absorbs right into the skin, a little goes a long way, so if you only use it on your face, it will definitely last a long time, literally a drop is all you need! I really didn’t see the firmer, brighter skin part after using it, because I use this as a last step in my skin care routine. I am on retin a for my severe acne scars, and using sunscreen daily is a MUST for me, so I have a pretty regulated skin care routine, that involves, wash, toner, eye cream, face serum or face oil, moisturizer, and sunscreen. So ya it’s a lot but my skin needs it that’s for sure. So, yes I LOVE this sunscreen and definitely recommend you checking it out, it’s that great!

I have been wanting to try this lip balm for a long time, but have so many lip balms currently, I just don’t go through them fast enough, I tell ya. I was happy to get this sample in an ulta gift recently. There are many different scent/flavor options in this balm which is great. Okay so your probably thinking, Renee this is for men why are you testing it? Okay well, maybe it is for men, but it’s a great lip balm for either lol! This Jack Black line is definitely geared towards men, but hey if it works well, that’s all that really matters. I think this lip balm is great for how cheap it is, I love the way it made my lips moisturized, and very supple, and soft. The scent is very subtle, because it is shea butter, which to me was sweet, yet not over powering at all, which is good. I actually have it on my lips right now, it’s completely non sticky, and I love that it has green tea extracts to really soothe chapped lips. I definitely suffer from chapped lips from my retin a medication, its a not so fun side effect, but always enjoy testing out new lippies, especially really hydrating, thick balms, I would consider purchasing the full size, especially for a gift for men.

Alrighty, I hope you enjoyed this weeks tester Tuesday products, and post. I love trying out new stuff for you guys, I can’t get enough! Yeah to new products! I hope you all have a wonderful week, and enjoy the sunshine. Let me know what your testing this week!
