Alima Pure Mineral Makeup Review

Makeup collection by alima pure. This collection is a local company to me from Portland, Oregon, yeah for local! My very first experience with this company was, okay don’t laugh, or think it’s odd, but I actually found a kit at a goodwill store here in Portland around 4 years ago! I thought the the cosmetic bag was cute, and little did I know, that when I opened the bag, it was filled with mineral eye makeup, and a little set of mini travel brushes. It was such a great find, everything was so cute looking with the cute bird logo, and also everything was brand new, sealed and unopened. I bought it for $3.99! YEAH, total score to try out a great company.

Original mini travel brush set and eyeshadows: $3.99 at goodwill—-

Prior to this I had never heard of the company so it was completely new to me. I then saw it in a local store here in Portland, and realized I had truly found a gem! Here is a little bit of a background about alima pure as a company, and it’s inspirations——-

Alima Pure was born from a place of love. Inspired by our mothers, moved by our daughters, we took our own leap of faith to express ourselves and share our joy for living with others.
We founded Alima based on the premise of minimal ingredients for maximum impact. A few simple, natural ingredients crafted in just the right way can give every woman the power to present her best self to the world with confidence. That’s beauty at its most beautiful.

How beautiful is that? Wow, it really is an amazing company with a great line of beauty products that are made from minerals and are actually good for your skin! The pigments are amazing and have huge payoff as well. I have used the original set for the past years, until I recently saw that hautelook was having a sale for them, and was SO excited to try more out from alima pure at a great price. I have been loving alima pure, and will purchase more in the future to add to my collection. The packaging is made out of recycled materials and is functional and beautiful, and of coarse the bird design is perfect! I placed my order for these on hautelook:

Hautelook blush: $12 each on hautelook—-

Hautelook eyeshadows: $8 each on hautelook—-

They have a huge makeup line including: Face, Lips, Eyes, Cheeks, Brushes and Kits, they also have a large SALE selection on their website, great way to try them out!
